7.
If you already have the audio recording gear, look for a nice HD video camera & don't worry too much about the audio quality of it because you won't be using it. I use my iPhone or iPad for all my videos, record into logic or protools then put it all together in iMovie.
+1 for JakeBrownBass's suggestions! With an iPhone 4 you can record up to 720p HD and with the new iPhone 4S you can record up to 1080p HD - Great stuff considering they're only phones and optimum video quality for hosting on YouTube or Vimeo. Logic or Pro Tools are great for tweaking your audio and then you could use something like iMovie as JakeBrownBass suggested or Final Cut to edit both parts together. 8. The key is to show versatility. If they're expecting several tracks then vary it up in regards to technique and genre. But like JakeBrownBass said - keep it simple, you're expected to function as a bass player so show that you fit in well with the instrumentation around you. Maybe allocate one track to show more of a solo side to your playing but definitely throw in an element of groove and pocket playing. Making custom backing tracks for your audition pieces also shows them that you're prepared to put in the extra work aside from your playing ability. Hope that gives you a few ideas.
 9. From what i understand, its a lady called Alison Howe that books the lineups for Jools' show.
