3.00 Check in at hotel near Shepherds Bush and meet up with footie mate
    3.15 1 tube to Holburn

6.00 Tube to Sudbury Town (I heard this was the least busy tube station for Wembley) then walk to Wembley
7.45 till whenever (Fergie time, extra time, pens) - Watch Barca pass us off the park but hopefully spawn a win.

    Back to Shepherds Bush

  2. I've been lucky enough to get tickets for the champions league final on Saturday.

Have got to catch an early train to get the best price so will arrive about 10.30 and can't check into the hotel till 3.00pm or so

It seems like an opportunity to explore some bass orientated music shops. Wondered where was recommended and where I should avoid.

  3.
Why not go for a Varitone with series switching ? If you're using a set of Quarter Pounders, the series switching will make them sound huge and perfect for punk. Easy to install to - no soldering, just screw the wires in and bob's your live in lover.
Let me know if you go down the varitone route, I've just taken mine off to replace with a retro, ben meaning to put it on the classifieds section

  4. I'm coming over to the United game tomorrow from Wakefield so could bring an amp with me. I meet with mates in The Hope near Hope Hospital, 6 till 6.45 or so

If you drop it back to a mates house in stockton heath, he can bring it to our next rehearsal. Alternatively, I'm back for next home game on easter saturday

On the amp front. There should be more than enough space for it to fit in the slot, as the mental panel on the top of the LM's are thin. When I had the amp in the cab/combo, it was held in by two screws, but I sold that with the amp head as I put a piece of wood on the head to protect it. I don't know if there are holes in the top of the LM2 head for that, but you could easy take off the top and drill some holes for it as the same size.

If I was you, I'd either screw it in and leave it there or get the Markbass gig bag or other case and put it on top of the cab (which is what I did till I traded it). I'm not sure taking it in and out of the cab would work as you'd need to keep screwing it in and our each time might be a pain unless you can get some form of quick release screws. I guess this depends how much you intend taking the head out.
Thanks - will have a think over it. I take the head (Little Rocker 500) to rehearsal every week. At other times it could stay sat on the cab. Only really need to screw it in if I take the 'combo' out to a gig. Even then, maybe doesn't need to get screwed in as it's in a vertical position anyway.

also looking at a pair of purple chili cabs so need to think it over.
