1.
I'd be interested in what you'd take for it in a straight sale - especially the amp as I'm kind of hankering after some barefaced cabs at the mo... oh unless you wnat to Px with a Peavey Firebass Stack hmm thought not :)
Not really thought much about what I'd like to get for it - enough to get a kick ass rocking rig I think
I've just been sent a message from a guy who wants to swap my cabs for a 2x15 barefaced cab... so maybe if you'd be willing to take the whole lot off my hands for cash you'd be able to get your ideal rig all i one go!

2. Hey guys

So I've got an EAiamp800 with the matched 2x10 and 1x12 cabs. This has been my rig for a little over 2 years now and it's been fantastic throughout. The head is in great condition. I've got a 4u swanflight case with it in and the EA gigbag as well. The cabs could only be described as "Road tested"- They've been on tour with me alot and have picked up all the bumps, scratches and tears along the way... They are still in perfect working order and all the damage is superficial. I've never let anyone use them with any head other than the iamp800, and I've not pushed them hard or hammered them with high volumes. I'll get photos up as soon as possible so that you can see the scratches etc on the cabs - they're not totally destroyd though!!!

I'm looking to upgrade to a nice meaty ampeg rig or something. I'm thinking 8x10 or 4x10 and 1x15. Doesn't have to be a valve head but it would be nice! =)

Anyways this is a great lightweight rig as I'm sure you all know, and this would be a perfect opportunity for someone with a lovely backbreaking rig to up/down grade (depending on your point of view) to a real high end lightweight rig.

If anyone really wants this rig and doesn't have something to trade it for, make me a cash offer and I'll think about it, as that would obviously enable me to get the rig I'm looking for on here anyways!

Cheers
Al

6. Hey guys, how's it going?
I'll cut to the chase - my band is playing in London a week on Friday for the first time ever. We're from Manchester so have been playing up here, and doing some touring in Europe, but never played London!!
It's Friday 14th May at Arch 635 which is right behind Clapham North tube... www.arch635.co.uk
Hope to see some of you there, if you're from bass chat and you pop along then make sure you say hi!
Cheers

7. Here's my takamine EG512C Electro Acoustic bass. I bought this about 2 years ago with the intention of taking it round festivals/camping etc, but that didn't really happen and I've got a lovely little battery powered roland amp now, so I can't anticipate it seeing any action and it's literally lived under the bed for the last 18 months. I'd almost forgotten about it!

Anyways, selling due to a move at the end of the month, and not having any space to keep it in the new place.
I'm looking for £175, plus a tenner postage if you'd like it shipped, but I would prefer a buyer in Manchester as I might struggle to get a box big enough to ship it in, and I don't really trust parcelforce not to put a hole in it.
There is a gig bag with backpack straps included, so it's ideal for travelling or lovely days out etc...

There are a couple of light marks on the surface of it and a ding on the front, just below the strap thingy on the bottom end that I've shown in a picture.
One of the machine heads does not match, but the actual mechanisms are all original. There is also a black mark around the back of the headstock where someone had stuck a tuner or something to it, both of these things happened before I got the bass. Apart from that it's in good nick as you can see in the pictures, and the electrics all work fine.

8. I've put this on eBay now...

Just the bass though, might keep the amp a while :)

9.
Hey, is there a preamp in the bass? The knobs look like they have dual action - is that correct? What do they do?

Are you ever in London?

Davo
Sorry mate, I've just sold this today!

11. Hi guys
Selling this as a complete package.
The bass is a Peavey Zephyr I've had from brand new about 9 years ago. It's 4 string thru neck with 2 passive soap bar pickups. The build is lovely and very solid; Peavey just don't make them like this any more in this price range.
The amp is a Peavey Microbass 20W practice amp. I cut the material off the outside when I was a kid as I thought this was cool - obviously this doesn't affect the amp in any way apart from appearance. This is the best practice amp I've ever played, and for the size and weight its pretty good! Also bought from new at the same time as the bass.
There's also a gig bag, and I'll throw in a strap and lead as well.
Selling due to a planned move in summer - I play 5 string now and this was my first bass, I have only even kept it for sentimental reasons as it was my first bass.

£175 ono for quick sale to you basschatters, I'm going to list for £200 elsewhere!

Willing to split if requested.
This is in Manchester but I have transport.
Cheers
Al
