3. Roland Micro Cube bass RX, had it a year and used it quite a bit so it has a couple of small marks.

Also, the strap snapped, so its held on with tape.

Never had any problem with this amp and it's a wonderful bit of kit. It's got loads of features, quality clear tone and is very light and portable.

Will throw in some spare batteries and it comes with the power adaptor.

So £90 delivered, £80 collected or meet within Manchester area

  4. Korg Ax1b, very simple to use with a vast range of functions. One of the early multi effects pedals.

Looking for a tenner, it's in Manchester but if you're keen I can ship at your expense.

Runs on 4aa batteries or a standard multi adapter power supply.

comes as is, no power supply box or instructions included.
    Cheers

    SOLD! sorry

  5. Peavey Microbass, great little practice amp. Best practice amp I have used... 20w, 8 inch speaker. Volume, bass, mid, treble and headphones out.

I scuffed this amp some time ago and decided it would look "cool" if I cut off all the covering material, so its got the MDF visible on all sides. It's only a cosmetic alteration, and it doesn't affect the performance of the amp at all.

Fantastic little amp I've owned from new 10 years ago. Any questions feel free to ask.

Amp is in South Manchester, shipping is probably not economical in this case but I would be happy to meet within a reasonable distance.
    Cheers

  6.
bump - how does £700 the lot including the flight case sound?
How about £675 the lot? =) go on, you know you want to :)

  7. Hi guys

I'm looking to sell my bass rig. I've owned it from new in March 2008.
I've used this gear a lot and it has never ever let me down. I've toured and gigged with it in the UK and abroad and never had any problems, although as you can see from the pics the speakers are showing some superficial signs of wear!

I'd describe this rig as "road tested". It has never been in any way abused or misused. I've rarely let other people use it and when i have I've insisted that they use my head with the cabs and don't change the settings.

The head has been kept in the swanflight case from the moment I got it, so is as new condition. The case could be available if you need it, it's a 4u case.

I paid a whopping £1950 for this lot when I got it, I think it was the new range at the time.

I'm looking for £750 the lot. Will split (reluctantly) for the right offer, or trade. I'm thinking along the lines of a beefy valve head and some big cabs, so this would be perfect for someone who's got a rig they can't lift any more and are looking to downsize without sacrificing too much of the power or tone!

The amp is the iamp 800 and the cabs are the 2x10" NL210-8 and the 1x12" CXL n2EV.

Please see the pics attached, any questions fire them over!

Please note - when I took the pics there was a substantial amount of festival mud on the cabs, particularly underneath. A lot of this will wash off, but there are also a lot of scuffs, scratches etc and the name badges are missing from the cabs, but I'm sure you lot can tell the difference between mud and scuffs!

  8.
Hi lloyd, I'm not big into Marshall gear unfortunately, though this is purely personal preference. Thanks for the interest anyway.

Still open to offers on trades chaps! Would need an immediate replacement as I'm gigging a fair bit but I'm all ears :)
Hi mate
I'm in Manchester with my EA iamp800, and the matching 2x10" and 1x12" EA cabs.
Cabs are superficially a bit battered but they're very robust and solid little things and they still work 100% fine.
PM me or email [email protected] if you're interested at all
    Cheers
    Al

PS head is flightcased in a swanflight 4u, I still have the original EA soft case too.

  9.
Hey Al!

Hope the tour's going well - you still playing that lovely Fender Jazz 5?

Seems like you have a lot of possibilities on the 'more rock n roll' rig front to consider; that's what Buddhists call the mire of options... Good luck with it! :)

    Nik
Hey Nik, alls good thanks hope youre well

Sure am playing the fender, all over Europe! Never gonna let that ting go... theres some pics and stuff on my bands website www.weareshoshin.com and a vid on the front page of www.youtube.com/weareshoshin

Yeah there sure are a lot of options, what I really need is for something to shine through, like, um, I dunno, a Dave Eden Metro with extension cab or something ha ha!

  11.
If it's a CXL112 you have they sound great with tube amps I use to run my Mesa 400+ with 2 and it trashed every 8x10 until I got a Matamp one.

I have the most rock and roll tube power amp up for sale in a Mesa Boogie Strategy 400 if you are interested, but I was hoping for a straight sale.
How much were you looking for for the amp, and can you link me to the thread please? :)
