  1. Thank you, date wise i could only see one post online of someone saying late 70s but 80s seems likely. Yep its the 6 figure ID on back of the headstock Any view on value? I wont sell, its a lovely bass but always nice to try and guess a price.
  2. NBD - Hohner Precision Bass, made in Japan, I "think" late 70's judging by some other online posts but I have no evidence, serial number starts with 86####. Believe it was unused for many years, broken nut which I have now replaced as well as new strings/intonation sorted. It has the original bridge cover, replacement thumb rest taken from my Harley Benton PB50, Pup cover is long gone, sounds decent. No clue on value or rarity, bought for £50, for now its a keeper.
  3. Query solved by Lemmywinks - its a ARIA STB-PB-DX Active
  4. Thank you so much, not sure why couldnt find, seems it is the original plate: ARIA STB-PB-DX Active http://www.music-filibe.com/webshop/product_info.php/language/en/info/p4835_ARIA-STB-PB-DX-Active-Bass-Guitar.html
  5. Posted this on another page as my NBD yesterday but no takers, any clue on what this model is? Google giving me nothing, its the musicman style pup that seems to make it unique, unless it was modified by a previous owner, i believe it was sold this way originally, perhaps not. Cost me £70, quite weighty (i dont have scales but similar to my old Harley Benton JB75 so around 5kg) Needs a bit of TLC but this could be a great backup bass, impressed with it so far........................might get a black pickguard if can find one that fits.
  6. Think i've stumped google with this musicman style bridge pup. Will have a search and see if there's any Aria messageboards who might know. 🙂
  7. Picked up today, my first active bass, second-hand, similiar weight to a Harley Benton JB75. I've googled but can't see this model anywhere? Anyone know? None online seem to have the same bridge pup!! Also does anywhere sell the 12 screw P style scratchplates that fit these? Not interested in spending a lot of cash or having one made, if they are available then i might go for a black one otherwise this one can stay. Bass sounds good, plays good, back-up bass for me, needs a bit of TLC, probably get some black volume knobs and also needs replacement strap buttons which i will do shortly just be good to understand what model is and age, cost me £70. Happy with that. Will see if its a keeper or not over coming weeks/months.
