  1. What do you think? It's a James Brown Production, however it has totally different vibe than most of the tracks James did with Bootsy. Bootsy's brother Catfish is on the guitar here.
  2. Does anyone know what is the source of that? I took it from YouTube and enhanced the video a bit. First 5 seconds tells me it had to be released as a DVD bonus feature. However, I could't find any info on Discogs.
  3. Graham Central Station's 1974 single "Release Yourself" is probably the first recording ever including double-thumping slap technique on bass. In my opinion, this is the best example of using it in a song.
  4. He also played bass and sang backing vocals on the entire James Brown's "Gravity" album from 1986. This is the fastest James Brown track. Super funk!
  5. I remember when Warwick took all those funk legends under their wing around 10 years ago. Check "Fuss on Buss" videos on YouTube. I think people primarily knew who he was because of Warwick videos / NAMM Show clips rather than the music he contributed to.
  6. Isn't it strange that Bootsy has never sat in late night tv show in his own country? I am not counting the performance with Paul Shaffer. I am talking about sitting on the couch and chatting with a host. This is why all the FUNK legends love Europe, especially Germany were they are still treated as royalty! Just look at Maceo Parker's or Fred Wesley's tour dates. You'll see European cities mostly. 🤘🤘🤘
  7. Not all of my videos are copied from other YouTube channels Plus the ones I copied are almost always enhanced by me (old VHS rips). The description below every video is pretty much the same
  8. New VHS rip! Same situation as 1st Larry Graham's VHS. The clip that has been floating through the Internet for the last 20 years is really poor quality. I was able to find a mint condition copy at the Japanese auction. Now I am sharing this with you! Keep it funky and stay tuned for more! An introduction:
