IVE HAD THE MOON MODDED. IT NOW HAS A MASTER VOLUME RATHER THAN THE 2 SEPERATE CONTROLS FOR THE PICKUPS.
I THINK ITS MUCH BETTER THIS WAY BUT IT CAN BE EASILY CHANGED BACK IF A BUYER PREFERS -

what are the supposed differences between the Korean and Indonesian models?
These have a 35" scale right?
Im desperately looking for a white one with a RW board but Im going to keep an eye on this nonetheless :-) -
Its back people! Ive been using on tour and loving it but Im going to sell it on to buy a cheaper 4 string and 5 string.
Get in touch, I need to move it soon but its as low as I can go on price.
Cheers.

This one used to be mine, I had it imported new from Australia - cost an arseing fortune - and Id have it back in a second. Amazing build quality and great blending of vintage and modern appearance. Great price. Bump!
I have loved this bass for a while now....Whats the pre amp like through this bass?
I love the pre, its Moons own brand.
TomB wrote this on my TalkBass thread:
"I own this bass' sibling. Mine is identical in every respect except that it is finished in Burgundy Mist, (a '60's Fender color), and has a rosewood fingerboard. It is such a fine Fender-style instrument that I have needed no other 5-string since purchasing it. I bought it 10 or so years ago from the only former US dealer I know of: Dan Lenard, then of The Luthier's Guild in Chicagoland.
The preamp is a Blackbird, but a 3-band, unlike the 2-band drop-in Jazz Bass replacement model, also a great preamp. It adds a mid-boost/cut feature that functions much like a presence knob on an amp; goose it if you ever feel you can't be heard clearly enough, or cut for a slap-tone. It features only useable tones, and sips 9-volt power.
I have played many 5-string jazzes before and since and this instrument still tands alone. If you can manage it, buy it." -
Ahem... What does WHY stand for?
I think the guy you bought it off was either telling a porky pie or meant that they had owned it for 16 months – at an educated guess, I’d say that that combo is about 10 or 11 years old, probably made around ‘98 or ‘99. This is the same as my old 7210H (that was made in 1999 I think), except that mine was made in one of the last ever production runs from the pre-Gibson era, and this is at least a year older than that because of the green carpet and red lines going across the face of the cab.
Regardless of age, these are absolutely fantastic combos.
Well apologies, I'll take your word for it. Its in spiffing order anyway. -
trevthebass with money to burn! Thats a first. Still waiting for you so send my gig bag that was part of a trade.
Turns out he didnt.
Trev owes him the gigbag not me BTW. -
2 years according to the previous owner who bought it 16 months before I got it. Says he never gigged it - Ive only gigged it twice.
Its got a bit of fluff going on, my cat likes to sleep on it - I'll be sure to de-fluff...
