  1. The Japanese Metroexpress Sadowsky basses are fantastic. I own one and it's by far one of my favourite Jazz basses i've played and incredibly light. GLWTS. Definitely not to be confused with current Metroexpress offer.

Some info here from when they were released and I would imagine there aren't loads of them about after production moving to Germany shortly after their first run.

  2. The Alma arrived at the weekend and I really like it. It sounds and feels just like my old Big Box diamond Comp but the Clean blend is where the magic is. I can get the Squish of my the old Diamond but retain a clean signal. There is still the clarity and fatness fthe original pedal but I can just get it t compress more while keeping a usable sound.  Definitely something I need more than a mid control.

Nice tidy and layout and  solidly built. Only tried it at 9v so far but no issue with active basses.

I really, really like this pedal. Thanks for the heads-up @Stofferson

  3. Didn't realise the Lusithand Alma existed - just ordered one - I've got the original Big Box Diamond which I really love - will see how they compare and feedback when it arrives - The clean blend has me intrigued

  4. My go to for wireless Looms - ordered one before Christmas from John for my telecaster that needed a well orverdue upgrade

Postal service was a nightmare all Christmas but John kept me updated all the way

Loom arrived and quickly installed. A significant upgrade on the stock pots, harness and jack (as per his usual high standards)

A great price (some online retailers are charging almost double these days for less), fantastic product and top fellow

    Highly recommended

  5. Yep regularly use  two one 10’s with a Handbox R400 with a very loud drummer and two guitarists in just about every venue I play from small to mid size.

More than enough and front of house engineers and other band are always shocked by it.

whenever I use my big Barefaced stuff with a big amp  engineers just take it out of Front of house.
