Anybody fancy a Martin D28 6-string Dreadnought ? Bought new from Guitar Village 3 months ago. I was merely browsing and I forgot for a minute that I was a bass player and didn't need it. Can't really justify keeping it when there are so many basses that need aquiring instead... As I say, it is as new and is a standard[b] D28[/b]I have had it professionally set up by Joe White guitars and it comes with Martin hard case and all receipts too I would rather not post this and would prefer collection from Surrey, but I can arrange to meet up in most locations between Surrey, London and Yorkshire if this helps Regards, Chris

Thanks for the endorsement OHM. Still enjoying the Sandberg 5 too... Just one more thing about this bass as the question keeps coming up. It is not a lightweight bass, weighs in at 5.3 kg on my scales.( my modern jazz weighs 4.2kg) So if weight is an issue, walk away now!! - but thanks for looking anyway. Chris

Bump - comes with hard case too - not original...

Fender Jazz - 1978 fretted bass, sounds and plays great with a low action, currently strung with Labella flatwound strings - and has rosewood board and block inlays as far as I am aware The bass is all original and the paintwork has suffered from some fading over time and has various dings and scuffs which one could expect from a hard working 33 year old bass ! I bought this last year on basschat and have been using as my main gigging bass but have now found that I prefer precision basses and unfortunately, can't really afford to keep this too I am based in Surrey off J11 of M25 and am happy for potential buyers to check this bass over and play it too if that would help I am not happy to post and would prefer collection, but I am also prepared to meet at a mutually agreeable location as I travel between London and East Yorkshire quite regularly NO TRADES I'm afraid Please PM me if you have any questions Regards Chris

Weight is 5.3 kg as opposed to my 2007 jazz which weighs 4.2kg so a bit heavier then...

Fender Jazz - 1978 All original with rosewood neck and block inlays Sounds and plays fantastic as well as looking rather good!! Not the lightest bass I've ever played though... Comes with non-original hard case Would rather not post. I am based in Surrey and would prefer collection, but I do travel up to Yorkshire quite a bit so can always arrange to meet somewhere en-route. Chris

Classic style Strat - Fiesta Red with maple neck. Single ply white scratchplate - 5-way pick up selector Neck has some signs of wear which add to the vintage look. Does not affect playability Comes with tweed case Would prefer collection from Surrey. But am prepared to deliver or meet up within reason
