Here's my 2020 Mustang and my 1992 jazz bass, both lake placid blue but also different colours, has time changed the bass or is the colour different now?

I assume it's a waterslide decal @Jeff29361, built up your lacquer in very light coats, allowing to tack off quite well between coats. It's quite easy to melt waterslide decals with the solvent if you get the lacquer too wet.

Decal on, waiting for it to fully dry then I'll seal it

Laquored waiting a few days to flatten it

I'm going to get some 2000 grit, sand it flat put 2 light coats of laquor in sand that back a bit then apply, thank you

Just had to order some new machine head screws,never looked at the screws before, they are properly rounded

Hi guys for the last 7 years I've had a bass that I covered in comics it's now starting to wear and I'm going to redo it but this time I want to seal it with laquor after its dried can anyone point to a technique and a way of building up layers to a gloss finish?

I still have my first bass, but for some reason about 10 years ago I lost a tuner, it's an old shortscale encore, I would love to get it back together but finding the part is quite troublesome as it's very small.

Does anyone know where I can get one from?
