Forgive my question if I am wrong but is the original photo a 5 string and the offered bass a 4 string?
Yeah, to be honest I bought it because it looked and sounded amazing, I actually wanted a 4 string so this is a winner

Ibanez. Ergodyne?
It is but I can't find the exact model, the later ones were less dali-esk and a bit boring

There's a lot of wasted energy and time in the way those fingers are being lifted so far away from the fretboard. YMMV.
Yeah I see that, one of the poor habits I'm trying to get rid of

I know this is a guitar but I don't have a bass to hand at the moment, but the technique is the same, this is how I'm playing
-
I'll ask him next time, the scales he is teaching 1 fret 1 finger, is that wrong?
-
Hi guys, I've been playing for 26 years and on Monday I had my first lesson, I wanted to address my floating pinky, he has given me so e scales to practice and I'm really improving already but I am getting pain in my pinky and wrist, is this just me building strength or am I doing something wrong?

No it screams seller pinched the photos from Ali-Ex .
Those necks are sold by the wangguitar 1980 store , their eBay shop was "jinwan" . I have a few necks from them , also I've spotted quite a few used them in TalkBass build diaries.
Decision to go with wangguitar was simple economics . Material for a neck ( maple/fretwire/TR/fretboard etc) cost between £30 to £40 then there is the time involved ; wangguitar were charging £55 per neck inc delivery . My time is worth a damn sight more than £25 🙂
Would you recommend?

That price doesn't scream quality, not that it isn't but.... in the pictures what's going on under the second fret?
Good shout, that doesn't scream great QC

Is this going to be any good, I love how it looks I don't trust the price
