    So: Ampeg Portaflex cabs... seems the cab top unclips to expose the inside. Why?

    (I'm considering a 210 so just wondering).

      You can attach a head (e.g. PF-50T) to the top panel. Then for transporting it, you flip the top over so the head is hanging inside the cab and protected from knocks. It's based on the original Ampeg B-15 design.
