-
-
afraid no luck on the guy who would have had it, he bought the marshall i've been looking at. damnit.
any offers at all for any of the rig? -
what kinda trades would you be interested in?
-
ben
definately not the amp or the brand being a problem really....just it's a very small combo dimensionally, it's about the same size as the Trace Elliot i use in church; doesn't quite have the frequency response I'm after, plus i like a bit of valve grunt.....been looking at marshall MB series gear or possibly a second hand Ashdown ABM or similar size combo.
Sorry mate!
I might know someone who would buy the amp though, i'll have a word. -
fair enough.... 300 hundred watts is quite a lot for the size of the combo!
I'll see if I can get some money together!

sorry dude, no offence intended with combo; just after a 2x10 or large-footprint 1x15 combo thats all! -
depends what you'd class as a decent combo - I'm offering my ashdown mag 300. Great little combo, but ashdown are a bit like marmite on this forum (you can make your own mind up) - I love this amp!
Here's a link to the page it's advertised if you want some more info - http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=26878
I have family in wales, so I could organise going to see them and therefore bring the amp over, and test your one at the same time... how does that sound?
Cheers,
Ben
Well, I do love ashdown sound, hence the RPM1; but the Mag combo you're selling is a little smaller than what I had in mind..........you are more than welcome to come down and give the head a whirl though! let me know. -
like the look of the hartke 4000,
Is that price including postage?
Are you interested in any trades?
Ben
Hi Ben
Would rather meet you somewhere and hand the amp over.....i would be interested in a trade for a decent combo! But i doubt that's what would be on offer. -
how many ohms is laney cab? any chance you could deliver it to cardiff? as im out of car atm.
it's an 8 ohm cab. and yes i can bring it to cardiff if you're interested! -
sk8, i'm halfway between pontypridd and llantrisant...but i'm kairdiff born
let me know about the cabs, i can meet you with them if you wanted. -
SOLD to plankspanker due to downscaling - have switched from stack to combo, which takes up less room and is cheaper.

[s]ASHDOWN RPM1 EVOII PREAMPLIFIER (http://www.ashdownmusic.com/bass/detail.asp?ID=2)
Excellent condition, fully working and sounding fine. No big scratches or dents, been in either of the two cases i've had since i bought it in 2004. Been cleaned and dusted and checked over, never had any major faults, only ever had the mute status LED replaced. Been gigged less than a dozen times i would say.
Currently held in a Warwick 2u rolling rockbag, which can be included as part of the sale but is being listed separately on these forums.
Bought for £499, looking for in the region of £175, Any reasonable offers considered. [/s]
(FYI: Sold from this forum, after multiple attempts - hartke ha4000, laney B210) -
Greetings one and all....
Don't know if anyone remembers me? Welsh guy with a dodgy ear?
Well, I'm back!
And married, and needing to scale down because my house is tiny! In the process of trying to sell my rig in order to purchase a combo.
Hope everyone's well!
