  1. The other day i plugged in my 2001rb in bridged mode into my new gk412neo and the head blinked on and off a couple of times, and then the magic smoke came out the back (Blown thermistor). The speakon is good and the setup of the amp was totally correct, I have since used the cab with an SVT and all is well.
Has anyone had any experience of this happening or could point me into the right direction as to why this happened?
    Cheers guys!

  5. Just received a modulus flea from Don.

    What a guy!
He very patiently waited while paypal arsed about holding money in "echeque" land and was outstanding throughout. With the level of comms we had going thru this deal, I feel I have not only gained a beautiful instrument, but also a proper friend.
Everything as it should be, and the packing has been taken away by the UN for the development of nuclear bunkers, Damn thing was still tuned when it got here!

Some people could be put off by the Belgian thing but don't be. Deal in total confidence.
(should add he even put fresh batteries in and knocked some money off for new strings too!)
    Cheers Don
    peace

  6. I know what u mean!
i was lucky when i got my single wal, (wendy) too. Bass with the most even output and tone string to string and fret to fret. sound engineers love it and regularly ask what comp im using!!!!!
I only use it in the studio though, and i use it in every studio session unless some one specifies i play a differant bass

    god i love my wal!!!
