It looks like Rickey Minor to me.

I believe this was D'Angelo's first live performance in 11 years. It was recorded last night in Stockholm and the tour rolls into London next week. Guess who on bass?

Its funny but amazing how we all have different tastes as to bass players and their styles.

What better place than a church to play fretless ?
[/quote]
I am tempted to make mine the only one I use at church. -
I recently purchased a TRB5IIF and I have played nothing but it ever since. Getting used to it is a joy, will probably do for another week or 2 then take it for a change of strings setup etc..
I concur with the OP, why didnt anyone tell me about this before?? -
Have a bump on me, I just bought one last week! And its a great instrument, all the best with the sale.

Thanks guys, I am aware its not really a general bass discussion but its hardly off topic either so if the need to move it arises please Mods, lemme know.
Thanks again.. -
I am keen to study both fields in the not too distant future. Does anyone know of a good uni/college in and around London that offers these courses? Google search is pretty tired of me right now. Maybe theres someone here who can recommend me a place to check out.

Great twist to 101 Eastbound!

My uncle's church had a Valentine's Ball last year to raise funds for a new building. I got the band together to do the gig for free on the basis that it was a charitable cause.
They loved us and told us they wanted us back for the opening of the church. I said fine as long as they understand that we not gonna do it for free.
We never heard from them again. -

Notes are notes. Scales are scales. A kiss is just a kiss.

Hi guys,
Since last Saturday, I have been the proud owner of aTRB5 Fretless in cherry sunburst. Its my first fretless and I have been blown away by the sound and nature of the instrument. Only thing is I bought it without a hardcase and I am not keen on using gigbags when transporting. Obviously, it will take me time to get used to the dynamics of the instrument so I am only playing her at home then I will take her for service, setup etc.
Does anyone of you TRB'ers know where I can purchase a Yamaha hardshell case?
I will post a picture of Candy when I get home!
FYI- I think this is a great thread, I will be back for more answers! Stay low. -

I am feeling Christmassy, I think this is a great version of 'O Come Let Us Adore Him' with a 'Thriller' feel;

Louis in his pomp, I love the electric and synth bass in tandem. -
I'll Be Home For Christmas - Brian McKnight featuring Josh Groban, Take 6 amongst others....

I once had to learn 12 songs in 2 days it was quite an exercise but the writing down and constant repeating of the tunes does help....
All the best. -
Mine fell off but I pieced it back together!

Welcome! I hope you enjoy the show!
