I'm sure The Feeling used to do Ski Resort residencies before they hit it big. Unfortunately I have no contacts with them but do remember Jon Shuker has the Bassist's number...
They did - it was in La Tania in the 3 valleys. We have stayed there for years and are often in the bar they played at. I have a few friends who have played ski seasons, my only advise (as above) is look at the whole cost of the gig. Flights, accommodation, insurance, food and drink (especially drinks) - ski passes and ski hire (you will be skiing right?) - and cost of transporting gear. If you see it as a cost-neutral holiday rather than a paying gig - you won't go wrong.

Hi there - sorry, in process of payment. Sold.
-
That is beautiful. I had one of these for most of the '90s and it was a monster. I only sold it as lugging it out of my '73 Beetle was proving to be a challenge.
-
I just bought one of these last week... and now they are appearing everywhere! It's a great amp and much louder than you would think...

Hey there - I'm close in Reading, actually on the Hampshire / Berkshire border.

2x Hartke HX210 HyDrive cabinets. Bought from Thomann in July 2016 and gigged maybe 6 times. I'm not playing with a loud band right now so my TC 250 combo is covering all basses :-)
Hartke HX210 HyDrive, bass cabinet, 500W @ 8 ohms, 2 x 10 "HyDrive speakers (neodymium), 1" tweeter, high frequency attenuator (on, -6dB, off), speakon & jack input, solid plywood construction, built-in handle, perforated steel grill. Pretty light, and compact. You can get a big rig sound in a portable setting. Coupled with a LH1000 head (available separately) you have a monster rig. I've never cranked this setup past 4.
I've got 2 of these, price is for both, but I'll sell separately for 250 each.
Amazing kit - it's Vic's choice of cabinet - who's to disagree.

For sale (no trades) - Hartke LH1000 head.
1000! Watts. Plenty loud. I've got a soft case (gator) and a hard case (also Gator) or a huge 5U hardwood butterfly case (+£20 for the case). I'm not gigging with a 'loud" band right now so my TC 250 combo is more than sufficient.
It's Victor's amp of choice. What more do you need to know.
Specs from Thoman.

Happy to post at buyer's expense.

Reluctantly selling the amp head that been with me since 1993, bought new from the bass centre in London for much ££. I've only been holding onto it for nostalgia despite the amazing sounds it makes.
It a solid state amplifier head (has 1x 12AX7 value in the pre-amp) in excellent condition. With 350W RMS into 4 ohms, this SWR gives you plenty of clean power. Plus, all the tone shaping essentials are there in an easy-to-use format: three bands of EQ with variable mid, an effects blend control, and limiter with limiter defeat. It gives you a sidechain mono loop and an XLR balanced record out for use in studio or going direct to P.A.
Features:
- 350W RMS into 4 ohmsa
- 3 bands of EQ with variable mid
- An effects blend control
- Limiter with limiter defeat
- Sidechain mono loop
- XLR balanced record out for use in studio or going direct to P.A.
- Convenient tuner send
- 19"W x 3.5"H x 10.125"D: 16.5 lbs
I have a soft (Gator) case and a hard (SKB) case that I can include (for an extra £20) if needs be. Happy to post, at buyer's expense.
Not interested in trades... I've got plenty of stuff!

For sales... my lovely natural finish Cort Artisan A6 - bought from Bass Gear in Reading last year.
Amazing piece of kit for the price, 6 string, through body, Hipshot tuners and bridge, Bartolini pickups, active circuit. It covers a lot of ground. Well balanced, flat neck and not overly wide for a 6.
It's been to 1 gig - but mostly because I'm not gigging any more; it's a very flexible bass.
Currently strung E-F because I've been having fun with chords, but I can put back to B-C if you like. I've got a Cort gig-bag (soft) to include and will post to UK and beyond! Pm me with an offer.
Here's what bass direct have to say, and a funky video with some sound samples.

Just found this in my box of bits - used to be on a Warwick Thumb 4 string I sold a couple of years back.
Hardly used, in it's original box. Great way of getting down below E without resorting to a 5er.
Easy fitting - takes maybe 10 mins with no extra holes needed.
Happy to post - pm me with an offer.

Bit of an odd-ball from the '80's Japan.
Really smooth limiter and the exciter adds a lovely warmth and colour to the sound. I bought this about 20 years ago (yikes) and it's still in it's original box.

Love this thing. Tracks great on the bass - ALL the synth bass sounds you would ever need. (and more). In original box with power.
That 'jump' sound - yep, it's there. That pounding sound on 'subdivisions' - yep. That funky bass from Axel F - it's all there.

Amazing piece of kit. Delay with loads of substance - plus a killer chorus and tremolo. These pedals make an amazing noise.
Sold in original box with power etc. Had it for a couple of years, but using my TC Flashback most often these days.

I usually find a Mark-King style slappathon is enough to impress. :-)
