I think I’d have punched the bloke who tried to tell me that was wood grain!

Was wondering when this one would pop up on here! I’ve seen it on eBay for the past year, surprised no ones snatched it up!

That Peavey looks lovely. Any more pics of it?

I would still very much like to see some more Lakland USA Custom shops on this thread, I’m GASSING so bad with the Lakland bug at the moment!

I'm in Scotland and I bought one a while back on here, but have since sold it.
I paid more than £400 for it, so whilst I'm maybe not the 'idiot' quoted I'm still one for not knowing I could have got one for considerably cheaper than I recall paying...! 🙄🤪
The idiot in question isn’t anyone currently on here, he stopped using BC years ago. He was a friend of mine, until he dropped contact after getting my bass! Still, wish I could get that bass back. The Duck Dunns seem to be getting a lot harder to come by.

I ended up not loving the neck, but tonally it was superb
I sold mine to an idiot in Scotland for £400. I regret that

I'd give Dawn a phone. You will get an answer from her. Rob was behaving very strangely with me over email this week.
Behaving strangely?

In the first instance I’d give the guys at Status a call. It’s worth a try they may have spares. If you have the serial number they should be able to give you some history and possibly get you a replacement sorted, or suggest suitable replacements for them all.
Have just emailed Status to see what they can do!
