I'm reluctantly selling this lovely early original sei bass no 17, unsure what those pick ups are but it sounds awesome, very lively & has a kind of wal thickness to it, excellent condition with a super low action, bartolini preamp, green & red side led's & hardly any fretware, ebony fretboard, any questions please ask,

These amps sound great & that is a bargain, I bought one recently to use as a home practice, & rehearsal amp but I've now gigged it in a couple of medium sized venues with a 7 piece function band & it cut through perfectly, 

Korg tuner now filling that annoying gap 👍

Awesome bit of kit for a good price, I have one & use it for practice, recording guitar & bass, I couldn't be without it, good luck with the sale dude.

I think maybe a korg rack tuner will cure the ocd problem lol, I'll update the pic when it's fitted 👍

Hi guys it's been a while since I posted on here but had to share this with you. I've been throughout the usual trying different amps to get that perfect tone since my trace elliot 600smx died around 10 years ago, I went through Eden, Aguilar, tc electronics but ended up settling on a Genzbenz shuttlemax 900 watt head with a pair of 2x10 vanderkly cabs, I loved the tone & have been using that set up since then with my mayones & 5 string Warwick thumb.

Well I recently came across a trace ah400smx at a price that I couldn't refuse, I thought maybe keep it for nostalgia or sell it on make a bit of cash until I tried it to make sure everything is working as it should, well it's made me realise how much I'd been missing, it has the warmth, thick mids & a real glassy top end, something I have struggled to achieve with all the other light weight amps I've had, coupled up with these cabs it just sounds perfect & feels great.

This head is heavy but I'll put up with that for the tone.

I would say its quite chunky but plays really nice ,

I've had this for around 10 years & it has been my go to work horse, it's an early 1994 bolt on wenge neck & walnut body, lovely warm tone with that typical Warwick snap on top, it has some wear & tear as you can see from the pics & could do with some switch cleaner in the volume pot as its a bit crackly, the frets still have plenty of life in them, the truss rod cover is missing but hopefully I'll find it, if not I'm sure these can be found on ebay, the truss rod itself works perfectly.

I'm on the Isle of wight & don't really want to post this as its in a Warwick gig bag, so maybe I could split the cost of the ferry fare or something?

I've only had this a short time & sadly I need to move it on as it just doesn't suit my playing style, its 35" scale & I'm use to 34,
This really is a high end bass & sounds incredible, the pickups are aries quad coils that are split able via the 2 switches & it also has piezo pickups in the bridge,
As something has come up on here that I'm hoping to buy I'm going to let this go for the closest offer to £1700,
I'll put the full spec & more pics on here tomorrow,
