  1. I have a set of Seymour Duncan bassline pickups that I took out of a fender jazz 24 many moons ago. Just wondering if they would be a big improvement on the stock sire pickups. Would love a bit more jaco burp on the bridge pickup, so wondering if the basslines would do this and any other difference in tone they could give. Thanks.
  2. Hi Misdee. Thanks for that, very well put. I totally agree with you. I have no intention of parting with my old vb bass, it is a beautiful sounding and a very well made bass. I have a couple of other basses that I might sell to fund going for the sadowsky. Just not sure until I try it out. Cheers!
  3. Thanks for all the comments, advice and info on this. I might just have to take a spin to the shop and try it out. It's the only way of knowing for sure if it's for me.
  4. That's a great recommendation. What about the price, is it about right €2199? I've seen on thomann a new one for the same price although made in Germany, maybe there is a difference between the two.
  5. Thanks for that info Luke. The bass is the same as yours. I would love to compare them side by side but the shop is a good 2 and a half hour drive for me.
  6. Sorry, love the slim neck and the sound on the Victor bailey jazz, I do find it a bit heavy. Just wondering would the Sadowsky be lighter and would the neck be thin like a jazz. Also would the mids be as good as the jazz.
  7. Hi there folks. I have a Victor bailey jazz but have seen a Sadowsky Will lee bass for sale in a shop, looking €2199 used in good condition. wondering has anyone ever tried both. Would the Sadowsky be any better than my Victor bailey jazz? Appreciate any info. Thanks.
  8. Thanks a million for that info. Appreciate it.
  9. Thanks for that Dood. Is it easy to install?
  10. That's the one. Thanks for that Ikay. Will give John a call and see what he says. 👍
  11. Hi there, just wondering if anyone has tried the east btb 01 mid control. I have a jazz bass with a 2 band eq, miss the mids so thinking of installing this mid control. Also would it be easy to install? Many thanks for any info on this.
  12. Hi Higgie, thanks, will DC work , it says on sadowsky website to use regulated ac. I haven't a clue about any of this,
