  1. Hi guys,

I purchased this Sire P7 back in January from Andertons and I have to say, it's a cracking bass for the ~£520 I paid, the pre-amp is extremely versatile and it is really a joy to play.

However this was probably a bit of an impulse buy as what I really wanted as the 5 string version (which had a 3 month wait at the time), so I find myself playing my other 5er instead of picking this up, hence the sale.

I've not gigged this, it's been out to practice a handful of times (in a hard case), I main use it whilst I'm sitting at my desk. There aren't any scratches, dinks, scrapes etc that I'm aware of, it's pretty much as new.

Recently had a new set of Rotosound strings on it.

I'm based in Burwell, near Cambridge. Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions, want specific photos etc. Open to offers but not swaps.

    Edit: Few things I forgot:

Delivery/courier at buyer's expense, I can also deliver within 50 miles of Newmarket (Suffolk) if needed, for the cost of the fuel.

I haven't quite figured out how (or if) I can change the price, as it's too high, the price should be £375 ono.

    Thanks for looking!

You really aren’t helping my Sire P7 GAS!

It's a cracking bass, the preamp is very versatile, it truely is a pleasure to play and all for way less than a new MIM Fender!

I got one in  Feb/March time and I love it, however I couldn't get hold of a 5 string at the time so it'll probably appear in the marketplace of this site very soon as I'm most likely going to grab a MIA P bass.

+1 for this, I was a little dubious at first but it's been working just fine for the past 6 months.

Ok, so I've had no issues with this, running with the following: Korg PitchBlack -> Boss ODB3 -> Big Muff Pi Bass - > Bass Clone -> Spectracomp.

However, there is another thread on CB:

    and a reddit thread:

All suggesting these are not isolated supplied, just a daisy chain in a box.

Not sure if you are allowed to post links, but I recently bought this and it works a treat. 8 isolated 9V, one 9V high current (500mA), one 12V and one 18V.

Really cheap too and it comes with all the cables you need. No background noise at all even with 7 pedals on at the same time.

+1 for this, I was a little dubious at first but it's been working just fine for the past 6 months.
