Yes but I was more excited by some of the others you have created. I wish they would release the new editor. You really dont need a load of presets when you have a great community as SA have just proven. BTW Im picking up my C4 today, I have to confess I got it from Rich tone after you recommended them so probably stole yours. Sorry.

I loved the MXR, but with dry mixed in. Managed to match it on my FI though so we parted ways. Defo worth a try.

My MXR BOD went that way.. Created a patch based on an OC2 patch from TB. A/B ed them and the FI sounded better. I loved my BOD so that alone shows how great this thing is. Cmon update!

Look like were hijacking this post. But its worth pointing out that aside from being a totally awsom pedal. There is a huge community of enthusiasts that help noobs and share patches. Have a look on talkbass. You can also get a smaller housing from GisserD.

One of the features i haven't really spoken much about is the Detent tab on the parameter dial. It's a subtle feature, but makes the parameter dial soooo much more user friendly!
Thats is good news it certainly isn't user friendly by default.
On another point should we have received any confirmation regarding the orders yet?

Cool, but I see what you mean about them sticking out. Kicking the switch could also lead to trouble, like kicking the encoder clean off! Good call on the side mount. Cant wait to get mine. The FI has always forced some compromises due to its size so a board review is coming soon. Really want to get down to a metro 20 from my jr.

So I've been looking into this today, and i dont think its going to work. Not really.
The thing is... due to the way the circuit board is internally right against the wall, i cant recess the footswitches like i can on the sides. so the switches will have to stick out further, which elongates the footprint almost to the point where you could just have them sticking out the top like the 1st "Future compact" design. so it kind of makes this variant redundant. The only reason to have the switches there would be to have it on the front row of the board, and therefore operated by the toe. But i don't want to dictate where people put a pedal, so it's not realy a valid reason.
Therefore I will be sticking to the side loaded switches for the super compact.
Thanks for giving this a go.

I suppose few people that have printers read this, so here you can get some information about safety. In short: please ensure that your printer is not beside your bed or breakfast...

I wrote my dissertation on particulate polution back in the 90s. These little buggers will get right down into your lungs and some will probably stay there and get upto mischief. Fair warning, open the window!

Ok. So I've been working on a variant of this design that reduces the size by another 17mm....
I call it the "super compact"!!!
Granted there may not be much demand for this version.... But it's the one I will put on my board as I control via ES8.
length is now 82mm from 154mm, that's a reduction of 46%
The trade-off is that the switches are now only operated by hand! And protrude a small distance from the side of the pedal.
I will be offering both designs for those that want one.
Just a thought. Would it work with the buttons on the front. The nice thing about the top mounted jacks is that you can cozy your pedals up. Also you could activate it with a kick if it was at the front of the board. I use a Soleman so in your camp but wondered if you had considered this option. Im guessing you have based on your effort so far.

Ill take that off your hands

I have one of these and love it, there's a lot of anger trapped in that little box. Also sounds good at lower drive, I watched a demo of a guy who just used it to shape his tone.

There's a couple of FIs going on Gumtree for £270.One has an M2 thrown in. I love my FI, still feel like I've only scratched the surface. The Soleman makes a big difference but only had that a week.

Hi. I would be happy to take the machine heads. Do you think they would fit a SR600?
