Needless to say - but I will - Pete was a pleasure to deal with and I would heartily recommend him to all on here 👍

  5. ** Think Mouse 30" - without the mortgage 😂😂**

Stagg Shortscale 30" Electro Acoustic Bass Guitar in nice used condition, with just a very few, if any marks from normal use - the worst one being on the top edge next to the EQ panel - no dent & appears to be under the finish? - please see pic and I'm sure any marks could be polished out if they bothered you - but nothing major.

Great to just pick up without having to connect to an amp for instant noodling, but plug in to an amp and it sounds huge, which is probably down to the original Piezo pickup beng replaced with a more expensive, beefier jobbie.

Just fitted a new set of Warwick Red Electro Acoustic Strings, which sound really nice - when I took the pics, it was sporting a set of black nylon tape wound Strings, which although sounded nice through an amp, were a bit quiet acoustically, plus they were way  past their sell by date.

EQ and Battery check - run off a single PP9 battery and the combined strap button & input jack is rather nifty.

Lovely Flamed veneer finish to the sound board plus the finish and build quality are excellent.

The short scale neck, which reminds me of my old 60's Gibson EB2 makes it a pleasure to play as I find a full 34" scale 'a bit of a reach' now I'm in my dotage.

Comes complete with a Stagg Gig Bag, which albeit I think is made for the full scale version so is a tad too long, it still does its job.

Unfortunately, I do not have a box for this, or a hard case and so therefore I would prefer not to post if at all possible - thank you.

    specs :-

    • Top: Spruce
    • Back & Sides: Rosewood
    • Neck: Nato, 760 mm scale
    • Bridge & Fingerboard: Rosewood
    • Machine heads: Diecast nickel
    • Electronics(active): Bridge piezo PU with compensated saddle + EQ7545Bass (Volume + B/M/T + Presence + battery check)
    Colour: Natural semi-gloss

Any questions - please give me a shout👍👍

  6. Hope this is the right place for this?

Brand spanking new and in totally unused condition (apart from just checking the fit & for pics) - Roqsolid black with black binding cover which fits my One 10 like a glove  - but as kindly pointed out by the current kitchen Viper, I apparently don't really 'need' it as it never leaves home ☹️

£25.00 collected, or £30.00 including delivery to the UK Mainland

  7. Thanks Guys,

Yes, I would have thought that 10K was ample too. Just tried the 'out of phase' test and I couldn't notice any difference in volume with both pickups flat out ☹️

The model is a Yamaha BB404F - passive,  with two covered Jazz pickups - I had a very similar model a few years ago which had two soapbar type pickups and that was as loud as heck 🙉

  8. Hi Guys,

I have a Yamaha Fretless which is a joy to play, but unfortunately the volume / output is very low compared to my other Basses with the the amp volume at the same settings ☹️?

I 'think' I have measured the pickup output correctly with a multimeter and they are both around the 10K mark. Do I need to change the pickups, or could it be something else - Help?

  9. **Now £375.00** - collected, or £395.00 posted to the UK Mainland.

MarkBass MiniMark 602 Combo in very good condition with everything  working as it should. - Original Made in Italy model.

Unbelievably loud combo for its minuscule size and weight - even as a stand alone unit - 150w & becomes even louder If you connect an 8ohm extension cab to release the amps full 250w RMS.

These Combos are sonically incredible and a wide range of tones are provided from vintage lows, to HI Fi - Highs.

Auxilary in and headphone sockets allow silent practise + Line out to connect to another amp, or mixing desk.

Comes complete with a brand spanking new Roqsolid cover.

Would possibly be interested in a minty Barefaced One 10 with a Black Grill in p/x - preferably with a cover.

  10. A really nice example of this iconic 80’s workhorse, which is in very good used condition with just a few marks consistent with age & normal use and if I was still Gigging - even occasionally, this would be going nowhere.

Everything works as it should - Pre Amp, Truss Rod and Bridge and the battery box is complete and working.

Lovely dark Walnut finish over Maple through neck and wings.

Low action, very easy to play and sounds really good, even in passive mode.

Lightweght and balances perfectly either on a strap, or sitting down.

34” scale, 24 Fret, double octave Rosewood fingerboard.

Controls are Neck Pickup volume / Bridge Pickup Volume + Stacked Bass & Treble - which obviously only works when in active mode - selectable by a flick of the switch. Although a rich and varied range of tones are achievable by balancing the two pickups when in passive mode.

I do not have a hard case, or even a box for this, so it will have to be collection only - sorry ☹️

  11. **Withdrawn - Luthier managed to lower the action to 2mm** 👍👍

Stagg Shortscale 30" Electro Acoustic Bass Guitar in nice used condition, with just a few marks from normal use - the worst one being on the top edge next to the EQ panel - no dent - please see pic and I'm sure that they could be polished out if they bothered you - but nothing major.

Great to just pick up without having to connect to an amp for instant noodling.

Currently sporting Status 'Hotwires' Nylon wrapped light gauge strings, with a nice set up offering an action of 2mm at the twelfth fret.

EQ and Battery check - runs off a single PP9 battery and combined strap button & input jack.

Lovely Flamed veneer finish to the sound board plus the finish and build quality are excellent.

The short scale neck, which reminds me of my old 60's Gibson EB2 makes it a pleasure to play as I find a full 34" scale 'a bit of a reach' now I'm in my dotage.

Comes complete with a Stagg Gig Bag, which albeit I think is made for the full scale version and a bit grubby, still does the job of protection very well.

Unfortunately, I do not have a box for this, or a hard case and so therefore I would prefer not to post if at all possible - thank you.

Payment via PayPal Friends & Family, Bank Transfer or cash on collection would be good.

Any questions - please give me a shout.

  12. Thanks for the info -

Very much appreciated 👍👍 Yes, those are the 'side lines' I would need with my old eyes - the ones on my Yamaha lined Fretless extend over the edges, but they are very hard to see in anything but good overhead lighting 🙈🙈.

That action would be way too high for me and would need to be no higher than around 2mm at the twelfth fret ☹️☹️

    Cheers Frank 👍👍

  13. Thank you so much for your very comprehensive and informative reply - it is very much appreciated 👍👍.

The pics are also very helpful, as the top one shows that the fret lines continue over the edge of the finger board - which were sadly lacking on my Tanglewood Lined Fretless.

The second picture confirms that there seems to be very little wiggle room to reduce the bridge saddle and to to take any off the actual bridge body itself on an instrument of this value would probably be inadvisable - to say the least 🙈!!

As previously stated being a low action fan - my Basses are set at around 2mm at the twelfth fret position, so with also being an arthritic ridden old fossil, I always struggle with anything much higher ☹️!!

Thank you again for your help and may I say your Mouse really does look like a Bobby Dazzler 👍👍

    All the best,

    Tim
