1.
I would run bass>LS-2>Multicomp>M-80, and in the loop of the LS-2 put OC-2>Bass IQ>CEB-3. Set the LS-2 so you can blend your clean signal with the effects, and you're flying!
Thanks Higgie... Should I run them through the Amp Fx Loop?
 2. Well, yes, another pedalchain post... I have been reading through previous posts but I'm getting really mixed up and need some advice, please! Here is all the gear I'm using at the moment: -Ampeg SVT4 Pro - EBS MultiComp - EBS IQ Envelope Filter - MXR M-80 (D.I. + Preamp + Distortion) - Boss CEB-3 Bass Chorus - Boss OC-2 Octave Pedal - Boss LS-2 Line Selector Should I use the FX Loop from the amp? What do you think would be the best way to run them? Do I need a Looper or can I use the Line Selector instead? Thanks guys!!!
 3. Would you be interested in selling separetly? If so, how much for the cabinet?
 4.
No idea, but flowers or chocolates usually help.
Good One... Topic edited to avoid misunderstandings...
 5. I'm looking at a late 70's Precision, I know about the neck numbers but not sure how to read the Pots... could you tell me about this one, please? Pot Number: AR 1378106... which year is this? Thanks guys!

 8. I'm with Wil... excellent choice of notes and very, very talented. She is only 21 and not everyone gets to play with all those musicians unless you are good, really good.

 11. Thanks for the input guys! So if you solo the P pup there's also not humming? And the P bass tone is the same as on a P Bass? What I'm monst atracted to is adding a jazz pup to an existing P bass instead of buying a Hot rod or PJ bass but, since I'm not a very handy person, do you know how much would cost me to have a Jazz pickup profesionally installed by a luthier?
 12. I have just been thinking on going down the Fender P bass route, and in fact, I'm ready to go for it, but I'm also considering the possibility of a PJ: - Fender Hot Rod - Fender P Bass and ad the J pickup. Since I haven't had the chance to try any of them I wanted to ask, to all of you that own or have tried them, what's your opinion on these basses. On the Hot Rod, the P pickup is in the same position as it's on a P Bass? One thing I'm not sure about it's that if when soloing any of the pickups you also get the humming noise, similar to the one it happens on the Jazz bass? Thanks!
 13.
You're not selling this on Gumtree?: Musicman Stingray Hs (Double Pickup) (£950) Reply to: Click here to email the poster Date: Friday 13th July http://brighton.gumtree.com/brighton/51/11405051.html
Yes that was me... to cut the story short: We have bought a flat and needed the money to put towards the deposit so I thought about selling this bass... but then, instead of selling the Stingray, I decided to sell and has already been sold here on the forum, my Spector 5 which I wasn't using much these days. As you'll see I posted the Ad on Gumtree only once and never reposted it since I wasn't selling it anymore. The only reason I'm asking for advice on the price and thinking of selling this bass is because I'm GASSING for a '70's Fender P Bass but, I have to say, that I'm not completly sure abut letting this one go as is such a great instrument with such a wide range of good tones... The only reason GAS, GAS & GAS!
 14. I have been searching the t'internet, Ebay included, and haven't found many of them... here are the prices: http://www.thomann.de/gb/music_man_stingray_4hs_mn_cbp.htm http://www.thebassgallery.com/musicman.html
 15.
OK SOOOOOOO how much are we lookin at here?? i just bought one of these in trans red last week brand new from sound control for £1060 if its sensible i'll buy it mate coz it looks lovely
£1060 for a Stingray HS? I have checked Soundcontrol's website and even the ones with one pickup are selling for £1199: http://www.soundcontrol.co.uk/mod_1/pages/...mp;searchType=2
 16.
I don't think it matters what you paid for it to be honest. Like Hamster says, you can get one new for £1100 so no-one will pay more than that for it used and will most likely expect to pay less. Fingerprints, even cleaned off ones have that effect on value
I'm not saying that I want to based the asking price of the bass around the price I paid for it... I'm just asking you guys for advice on what you think is a fair price. I cannot find them for £1100, can you tell me where, please? Anyway, I agree with you two and I also had in mind the £900ish. Thanks for your advice guys!
 17.
A fair price would be based on what you paid for it - not the full retail price, unless of course that's what you paid? You can pick these up new with a case for around £1100 - £1150 so I'm guessing a ballpark figure for a private sale is £900 - £975? Hamster
I paid £1350 when I bought it since I couldn't find them cheaper anywhere? So, based on that, what do you think?
 18.
£££???
The retail price for this bass is around £1400... What do you guys consider to be a fair price? Keep in mind that I bought it new 7 months ago and that it comes with all the original candy + cleaning products... What do you think?
 19. I'm thinking on selling my Musicman Stingray HS and I'm just testing the waters to see if anyone is interested. The Serial Number is E57180, I checked with Musicman Customer Service and it means that it was made on 16-10-06 and I bought it new on January 2007 so that's 7 months ago. The bass is in mint condition as it hasn't been played much since I'm mainly using my '77 Jazz Bass. The bass comes with all the original acessories and paperwork: Musicman case, keys, instructions, polish cloth, labels.... I will also include a set of cleaning products that Musicman recommend to take care of the fretboard: Birchwood Oil and Birchwood Wax... Have a look at the pictures!
 20. Both Items are no longer available, they have been removed. A bit weird, don't you think?
