  1. Another positive feedback for Seva from me.
I bought his Origin Effects BassRig Super Vintage, pedal exactly as described and delivered next day. A great an easy transaction, Seva was super responsive and a pleasure to deal with.

    Thank you Seva.

  2. I bought a Cali 76 Bass Compressor and, despite a mess up on the delivery from Royal Mail,  it was an easy transaction and it's been a pleasure to deal with Joe.
He was there all the way helping out, keeping an eye on things and the pedal arrived safely and as described.

All in, a highly recommended Baschatter...thanks Joe!

In case anybody is wondering about his bullying and manipulative tendencies, here's couple of excerpts from my messenger conversations with him where he said he was coming to my house "to refund me":

    image.png.8471117dd5f2b2da237c7c75a3595ccb.png

    image.thumb.png.e03b82a40304d9d5b15c158e99f51e9e.png

Note it includes threats to have my FB profile removed, insults, told me to "give it up", and the assertion that I should "man up".

I wasn't going to accept meeting at my house, because one of the members here suggested that he could then not turn up, but post a message along the lines of "Great to meet you earlier and glad we could sort it all out.", which would then turn into a case of his word against mine (even though he is a convicted fraudster, liar, and counterfeiter).

I enjoyed suggesting we should meet at the local police station, but the funniest bit was where he said to me "Why lie" - that was a case of the pot calling the kettle black!

This is the measure of the man.

Then later, further attempts to manipulate events via his proxy "Jason Lear" account:

    image.png.8509ab5decf0794b3767b1c469c32a22.png

    image.png.b0307e614bded98e86b555f0dae93a7c.png

    image.png.35fd09db918f01aeade095fd22fa65a8.png

The cover was slipping throughout that Jason Lear conversation, though I played it straight.

The "I've a relative who's a lawyer" ruse was fairly transparent, but the telling bit was the "I've (over) £100 too", where he slipped to 1st person.

Pretty similar to the messages I read from another person he tried to scam and I was helping to recover his money. From the bullying to the threatening and the solicitors.

He claimed he was an admin/friends with many on FB; one group removed my warning a week or so ago.

All the groups I contacted banned him from their groups...as we did on ours. And removed his posts.
If some of them allowed him back I don't know but we for sure have not done so.

Our case was back on the 8th of December.

  5. Wow, I didn't know there had been so many people scammed by this person!

I'm the admin of the Bass Players Market UK.
As soon as @ForbiddenWytch contacted me, I removed his Adverts and got in touch with most of the Music equipment Sale groups to warn them about this guy. Their response was amazing and they all remove his Ads and banned him from the group.
Now we have a Facebook chat where we can all warn each other when cases similar happen so we can all act quickly.

Happy to liaise with Basschat admins so we can all work together.

  6. My first post in a very looong time!

I just wanted to share with you this project I'm involved with....after a long break from playing bass.

As a consequence of the Covid-19 situation, this project has been born and we have called it " Confinement Jam Experience".
We are all in different cities, and some in different countries, but we came together online and decided to record a cover of the Red Hot Chili Peppers' "By The Way".
It has been a great experience and it has helped making our time indoors more enjoyable.

By the way, I'm on bass 😁

Give it a watch and....I hope you like it!

I could deliver within the area or happy to post it too.
Sorry, not interested on any trades this time.

    BUMP! That's lovely!!

Thanks guys! I t really is a stunning bass.
Only selling as I had a Fender Custom made to my specs with the neck profile of the Geddy :)....otherwise I would not sell it!

  11. I'm selling my Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass, aka "black beauty" :gas:

It's one of the earlier Made in Japan models. Serial Number T057***

The pickups have been upgraded to the beefy Dimarzio Model J and the tunning machines swapped for Hipshot Ultralites. As you'll see on the photos all the hardware has been swapped to black as well as a black pickguard...It really is a stunning bass!

The bass plays beautifully and the neck is superb!
A few marks here and there but nothing really that noticeable.

Comes on a Fender Urban Bass gig bag and also has the, never used, original white pickguard.

Collection from Peacehaven or can deliver within the area. Happy to post at buyers expense too.

I have a Mike Lull V4 and it is a superb instrument. The craftsmanship that goes into his basses is top drawer and it's a real joy to play. Good luck with the sale!

    Thanks! They are superb instruments.
