1. i think that you have completed a wide range of bass sound from humbacker to jazz and precision excellent choice mate...

i wish you dont start playing 5ers is a mess you have to choose more..

By the way i might know why you dont get that sound out of musicman.. go and try a stingray 5 put the switch on top position to the neck side add a bit of bass and you see what i mean perfect sound through the mix i think you need to trade now they are 4sr with that switch or get an HH model that is better..

  2. Hi Guys
I am thinking of defretting my SR 1000 Japan made Bass 1988 I Got with Seymour Duncan active Eq Pickups (the ones with the little buttons) and ebony fretboard. The preamp is a Bartolini one don’t remember the model. I think that ebony fretboard is ideal for fretless and at the moment I am not using it and I prefer playing my stingray is a good time to do it..
    So what you think?

  3.
I have now bought an NY121 extension cab for my combo and can confirm it gives a marked increase in volume and a larger 'spread' of sound than the combo on its own. it is very light and easily fits into the boot of my car next to the combo.

I would certainly recomend it - although given the price it probably doesn't represent good value for money unless compactness is absolutely key as it is with me.
Is it so good mate? and where did you get it from?

  5. Here is my lovely Ibanez sr1000 on the right in electric blue moded with SD pickups and shaller tuners and bartolini preamp that sounds awsome i am thinking of defretting it but is so punchy so i dont want to waste it.. ;)

  6. i think the player make the tone and the dynamics and the bass must comfort him of playing it ... When it is pluged an instrument above a certain price say 1000euros pounds is a good instrument...Nobody knows how good basses are fenders or how comfy they are till it tries all of them.. Maybe is a bass outthere that suites better to your hands..

  7. I have a pandora and i want to practice with headphones can you tell me a good set to buy.. The ones i ve got was a decent one 35 euros but broken now..

I heard that it has to be a good one in order to not deaf myself...

Hearing is an essential feeling for everyone especially in here bass chatters help me to buy... ;)

  8. Hello guys I need some help,

I have 10 days now the Pandora PX5D an awesome machine for me does everything I need for practice… The only problem is recording. When is connected to USB is recording to the pc only the drum patterns that is included and bass I am playing. When I am listening to a song (via Pandora USB) with bass canceling I can’t record the song to the pc and the only part that is recording is bass itself… This is very strange I can understand why ?
There is the manual saying if that helps …

The only way is to put a cable splitter in output and split to headphones and put the other in the audio card line in but is too much of doing it...
