  1. Thanks I have a look at all of those Any views on a Vintage Roland GB-50?
  2. Just home use for now. Not good enough for a band and if that changes I will get the gear. I did find a vintage Roland GB-50 for 120. I'd like to keep it around that price
  3. I currently have a Stagg BA20 and I would like something a bit better The Stagg vibrates a bit at times especially with the overdrive pedal I bid on a 150 watt Marshal today but narrowly missed out I am also looking at a 50 watt Laney and a 70 watt Hartke Any suggestions? I want to buy used and keep costs as low as possible. Don't we all
  4. Well just had a look on eBay during Friday morning breaky down the cafe and picked up a weeping demon with its original box for what I consider a very good price. Now I need to get the right fuzz box. Gonna get one of Jeds Black Russian kits and socket the lot so changes can be made to suit.
  5. I just looked up the weeping demon I am impressed
  6. Thanks mate I was originally thinking of getting a DIY Black Russian and adding the Morley Pedal later I quite like the fuzz sound on its own
  7. I'm a big fan of Cliffs sound and I wonder if anyone has experience with the Tribute pedal Can the fuzz be used on its own without the pedal? I was going to get a DIY Black Russian kit and eventually get the original pedal Cliff used. I do like the fuzz effect on its own without the wah so not sure which route to take now I only mess around at home annoying the neighbors
  8. I got one last weekend I like it It is so different from my peavey zodiac it's like driving a merc and then going into a mini Takes a bit of getting used to It is also not as forgiving as my peavey But all that is forgotten when the pre-amp turns out that low rumble Just makes me smile
  9. Hello from Rutland Right on top of the Welland Valley I'm Ulrich and I'm a terrible bass player I currently own Peavey Zodiac BXP and a Ibanez SG300 with a Stagg amp I plan on building a cab as my Stagg doesn't handle the active pre amp on my Ibanez very well. A good excuse to buy a cheap head to go with it Not good enough to be in a band but I love the sound of a bass
