1. Cheers Karl...Lol! Yes all our own light show, We have 3 x Lighting tech's that run that side of things via a huge Lighting desk etc, The video clips were taken at the Witchwood and we had no room to move hence all lighting etc was scaled down... Such a small stage for our setup... Usually our Singer will do a lot of theatrical stuff with costumes etc but had no room to even turn round without hitting my headstock..Lol!

Not much floor space with a set of Midi Pedals, Floor Board etc in front of me too HAHA! :)

Pete! That SWR 6x10 with the LM II Head is outstanding... Bad recording on a phone right infront of monitors didn't help the vids...Sound Mix was all over the shop and Bass Pedals could only be heard farting in the Monitors... Out Fron't it was Earth Shaking...Haha

Thanks Bass Chatters for taking the time to view.

    Justin.

  4. Playing Bass & Bass Pedals is like patting your head whilst rubbing your stomach...Lol! This Stage was so Small but we all squeezed in and managed to get both Drum Kits in...

  5. Original Pre-Fender USA Made SWR Redhead Combo... 2x10 & Flightcase.

I'm selling my early-1990s SWR RedHead combo. This is the classic 2x10"+horn bass amp that started the whole 2x10 combo craze. This is an original, pre-Fender unit ... the last of the "true" SWR amps.

Combo has two Eminence Kappa drivers installed and uses the original single Fostex horn tweeter.

This is one of the classic bass amp designs of all time ... and it remains one of SWR's best. I've had this amp for a while and i realy didn't want to part with it But since using my SWR 6x10 cab with another head i just havent used it and it realy does deserve to be played more.

Comes with a heavy duty flightcase fitted with locking castors. Cab Carpet looks ok with minimal wear, Everything works perfectly. No rattles, squeaks, loose knobs etc. The whole thing was cleaned and switched cleaned a few months back. The only slightly scratchy pot is the (MID) Control... The rest are silent. Please note that this is an Early model which has a Mesh / Material type grill without the removable cover. I have also removed the Plastic Corners off the amp in order for the flightcase lid to close. I do still have them but they are worn.

Combo originaly was imported from the states and ran at 110v, Has since been converted to UK Voltage by an Audio Tech using a small transformer mounted inside the cab. Can be run on either voltage as Male / Female IEC Connectors fitted (110v in - 230/240v out) ... AMP is 100% spot on.

Very Tight, Punchy and Crystal Clear.

    Effects Send / Return

    1u Rack space built in

    Tuner Out

    Active/Passive Inputs

    DI input & Controls

    FX Blend Control

    Extension Speaker input.

Cash on collection prefered, Combo is quite heavy so i am willing to travel and meet up on Motorways A483, A55, M53, M56, M6 within reason.

Effects not included but have installed a 1u vented Rack Pannel as a replacement.

Further info just Text / Call Justin 07900 680 955, Try before you buy.

PLEASE NOTE I WILL BE AWAY ON HOLIDAY 1st APRIL - 8th APRIL.

    A Givaway (ON HOLD)

  7. Hi,

I use the original TC Electronic G Major and it is great! Hooked up to a Behringer midi board you can do all kinds of tricks without delay between changes.

I have set pedal 10 as my tuner as it puts the rig in mute mode and the TC has a built in tuner. You also have 2 x Expression pedals for setting to whatever you like ie - Pedal 1 (Amount of delay), Pedal 2 (Amount of Octave) etc etc.

It's not the G Major 2 but if it's anything to go by the new one will blow you away.. Dood Swears by them and has helped me with a few questions on this unit.

    Justin.

  8.
Get a 19" 2, 3 or 4 u rack & the rack ears for your LMII & you can pop a rack tuner or rack FX in there too. Then it'll look the part. :)
Lol! Just been looking at that option as i use the TC Electronics G Major & Midiboard , Plus it has its own tuner. Its in the 1u space in my combo but thinking of putting the LMII in a 3U rack without ears.. I will then put the TC in a rack and try and fit 2 x Wireless units in there at the side of the LMII (Something tells me it's Bigger than half rack though :)

    Cheers Buddy

  9. Both in good but gigged condition and are in full working order.... No Farts / Rattles etc = Spot on Quality for little Money. The 4x10 has a white skeleton face type logo in the center from an old Punk /Rock band called Belisha and has been featured in a few music video's - see back end of this vid for logo = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9J2ydeW6tY.

    Both Cabs = 8ohm Each.

1 x HARTKE 4x10 Transporter Cab (Ally Cones)

    1 x HARTKE XL / VX1x15 Cab (Paper Cone)

Both can be tried before you buy.

Collection availible from Wrexham / Chester or Ellesmere Port.

Will try and get pics but they are at my parents house 20 Mile Away. £150 the Pair

    Thanks :)

  10. Just thought i would post a little review on this head / cab (Yes! may need to move this thread to another Topic Section). I Apologise for my $hit spelling as i am a Welsh Breed. Lol!

Although the SWR Goliath Snr is a pretty big cab, I find it 10 x Easier to wheel to & from my Vehicle and to venues etc than most 1 x15 / 410 cabs as you just tilt back and away you go (Same goes for the 8x8 Henry Cab as its the same cab).

I left my Redhead combo behind the other day and having not sourced a compact cab for my Little Mark II i though stuff it, Drag the 6x10 out as its a 4ohm Cab..

Lol! The Head did look a little stupid on the top of the cab but i tell you something..... WOW! Absolutely Blown away by the Clear Punch and Crisp snappy highes etc. I used my Classic 50's P Bass and the head needed nothing at all.... Maxed my Tone & Volume pots on the Bass.. Set the input gain level. All EQ set to twelve o Clock, Vintage knob switched off and Hi Freq control at twelve o Clock.... This was the first time i had played through Mark Bass and i am Gobb Smaked..Haha

Master gain is barely even on and the Place Rumbbles like no other rig i have used. Just back off my tone pot on the Bass for a little funk... And back on for slap tone. Combined with the use of the Hi freq knob on the head it produces chest pounding thumps with ear piercing crisp pops.

Now looks ain't everything in this game...Haha!

    J.
