  1. Thanks this sounds like a useful suggestions to narrow the source of the problem and one that hadn't occurred to me. I have tried it but there is too much noise in the house at the moment to make a judgement so will repeat the test later this evening when things are quieter.
  2. I have a ESP LTD B205SM fretless and would like some advice on a problem. The problem is that my top string (high C in this case) has almost no sustain or tone compared to the other strings. I have tried many things (and strings) to resolve this without success. It's come to the point where I need to upgrade it or part company with it. I'm wary of investing what might amount to a couple of hundred quid with no guarantee of success and was hoping for some views on advice one way or the other.
  3. And thanks for the info from the manual that is useful.
  4. Thanks for these replies. If I daisy chain how does this affect impedance? Does this mean 2 x 8ohms = 4ohms? PS found the answer to this in are earlier thread. Thanks everyone.
  5. I have a Markbass Backline 250W that has a 1/4 jack out put and a speaker output. Does this mean I could run two cabs from this amp? I connected headphones to the jack while the speaker was connected to a cab. I got a mono signal to the headphones and the cab seemed to work normally. Any observations from anyone? I was thinking of trying build another cab but don't want to waste my time if I'm missing something.
  6. Phil Jones Double four. Tiny shoe box sized amp with lovely tone and useful features.
