Have had the 310 for  a while now &my main reason for buying it was the fact that it was a 4 ohm cab so I would get maximum output from my Orange OB1-500 I had been using an SC [8 ohms) so was having to push the amp harder. Now that the drivers have bedded in, the sound is gorgeous without having to push the amp too hard. I'm playing a 60's precision with roundworns on, bit of dribble through PA, but am getting smiles from drummer & nearby guitarist about the sound. I find it's well worth taking an Aurelex board along and trying it with & without at soundcheck - most of the places I play are pubs and you never know what is underneath you! The drivers took longer to bed in than I expected, but I find I get a better tone from the 10'' than the 12" drivers.

As for the weight, I always carry a fold-up sack truck which also helps with PA speakers, lights etc. Having said all this I am 72 + years old and I reckon my playing career has been extended by a good few years by going down the Barefaced route.

  2. Top quality wireless system with receiver which sits on your pedal board and also contains a tuner, freeing up space on the board.

This is the 2.4GHz model and I'm only selling because I've had the chance to buy the dual frequency model. All the items are in working order, have never had any drop-outs. It is packed in the original box [ marked as B stock due to the box being tatty] and contains both relevant chargers, the cable to connect guitar to transmitter & the receiver which has a velcro pad on the bottom. The instruction book is also included plus a spare battery for the transmitter. The guitar cable is in one of the charger boxes.

Superb piece of kit at a very reasonable price. Can be seen here but will post at buyers expense. Am not looking for any trades, I've got enough stuff already!

  3. Just bought the JB-75MN Vintage in Black. Am normally a P-Bass player but thought I'd have a look at one of these - £149, worth a shot!

Body sound,  bit heavier than my go-to P but used it at last 2 gigs & no problems with 2 x 1hr sets.

One or two frets just needed a couple of strokes with a file, didn't like the strings, but not a lover of D'Addarios, so have changed them, neck is smooth & easy to play, tuners fine & hold tune well. Little bit of adjustment on the bridge, electrics seem to be working well.

All in all, well worth the money, P-Bass will still be no 1 but will happily take Jazz too.😎

  4. Bought a Roadworn PBass from Rich. Top class comms including delivery details etc. Price fair and delivery costs same.

Bass arrived superbly packed and in great condition, all working as should be.

    Top guy, deal with confidence.

  5. Just bought a Barefaced Super Twin from Alex. Description of 'mint' exactly right. Met at Fleet services so saved me a couple of hours driving as well.

Smooth transaction & a great Basschatter. Highly recommended.

  6. Gator G-PG- Bass -2X guitar case for sale. Carries 2 basses really easily &, because of the foam lining, is lightweight.

Bought for a project which never happened, so has never left the house, pet & smoke free.

All straps are with the case.

Prefer local pick up or could travel reasonable distance for fuel cost. Afraid don't have original packaging.

Currently £140 on Amazon, so priced to sell.

  7. Barefaced Super Compact Gen 3 for sale. Very good condition. Already had one & bought second one for outdoor/ bigger gigs. Now haven't got room in car for both & most gigs I can plug into the PA to boost sound.

Great piece of kit, light as a feather & brilliant clarity of sound. Have tried some of the other BF cabs & this is the one I like best.

Nicely broken in but never hammered. Comes with BF cover.

As can be seen from one of the pictures, there are the usual marks from amp feet - I usually put a bit of card under the amp to protect the cab. Touch up paint available from BF but not visible when amp in place.

Not looking for trades unless it's a Super Twin in vgc with a cover & cash your way

Located in South Somerset but still have original packing and can be couriered at buyers expense. Probably save 8 -10 weeks to get a new one and best part of a couple of hundred quid in the process

  8. Bought a Barefaced Super Compact from Clarky. Smooth transaction, payment & shipping sorted out despite the intervention of the Easter Bunny.

Deal started last Friday & amp delivered today, 2 days ahead of expected.

Top man, great comms, super packaging, deal with confidence.

  9. Bought an Aguilar AG700 from Jack Nice smooth transaction despite illness on both sides which prolonged it for a while.

Great guy to deal with, excellent communication throughout & a nice piece of equipment to boot.

Good to meet you & let me know if you are playing in this area at any time

  10. As far as I am aware [ & I'm in the same situation as yourself] these gadgets only work with a 6 string guitar [ melody]. You have to have a lot of faith in the guitarist you share it with!

Regular change of keys is just too much faff. It will work if guitarist uses a capo because the unit will still follow the guitar

    Have fun.
