  1. Stunning five string bass made for me by award winning luthier Alan Miller - check his web site. Body is walnut with rosewood neck and headstock and a legal ebony fretboard. Kent Armstrong soap bar pick ups with single coil and humbucker connections. One volume knob then three mini switches -one to select single coil on/off, one to select humbucker on/off and one to isolate either pick up use both. Schaller bridge and machine heads, Fender round wound strings and quick release strap locks. Sale to include wide leather strap, hard case and stand. I have included pictures of the construction stages, including changes in design particularly of the headstock. Why am I selling? Simply because I no longer play the type of music this lends itself to and it deserves to be played.
  2. Very neat and effective if you need to boost the signal from your instrument to your amp. Can be clipped to your belt or clothing. One of the best on the market.

  3. One of he best available. Bought to use with an upright acoustic bass when soloing but realised I just needed to play harder! Serial number Q1L9097 Good working order from smoke free home
  4. Hi, Just checking you have received an email from me with a view to arranging to see and try the bass in the BA14 area when possible. Please let me know if the bass is already sold or when we can meet up. Thanks, Wilf
  5. Hi Cameron, thanks for your reply. I am starting the trip from EUB to acoustic DB and the ensuing quest for the warm acoustic sound properly amplified. So the mix of instrument, strings, pick ups, pre-amp and amp itself sounds like a long and expensive experiment. I am keen to try your pick up set up. Are you happy with a £50 offer, if so can you offer any advice particularly on the amp you used and how to pay? I am a newbie! Thanks, Wilf
  6. Hi Cameron, Is this still available, please?
