1. Hello All,

Time to put the last of my amps/cabs up for sale. I've done a fair bit of trading on here now and it has all gone very smoothly, so would rather get it sold on here than Ebay!

1x Ampeg SVT 4 Pro
2x Ampeg SVT410HE cabs

I've had the SVT4 pro for about 4/5 years during which time it has never let me down. It has only done a handful of gigs and has been well looked after. It is extremely loud, warm and versatile and the dual power amp / crossover options can do some wondrous things that other SVTs cannot. It comes with the original mono-bridge cable and I'll throw in the SKB rack case as well.

The two cabs are only a year and a half old and have rarely left the house and are in fantastic condition minus some very minor aesthetic wear.

I am only asking £900 for the lot. Pickup from Cambridgeshire only, no postage. If you want to arrange to try it out or have any other questions send me a PM.

2. Hello All.

Up for sale is my SVT2 Pro. I have hesitated to sell this one for some time now, because it has been hands-down been the best-sounding amp I've owned.
(I've owned a Mesa Boogie 400+, SVT VR, SVT4 pro, GK 1001RB)

I am selling it because it is a beast and it simply doesn't get enough action to justify me owning it, this thing deserves to be gigged and enjoyed way more than it is.
I've owned it for about a year and a half and it has done one club gig a studio recording and a handful of bedroom performances :(
It's been well-behaved and taken care of.

Specs:

-300w of Tube Tone goodness
-Built in the USA
-Recently serviced by an experienced tech
-Fully tubed with "Winged C" 6550s (plenty of life left in these!)

Some minor aesthetic mojo on the front, but nothing to be concerned about. Some elbow grease and light cleaning agents would probably eliminate most of this if it's the sort of thing that bugs you.
It has been recently serviced by an experienced tech and declared "a fantastic amplifier".

If you want to drop in and try it out, you are welcome to, just let me know in advance. I am based in Cambridgeshire.

No postage with this one as it is too heavy and too valuable. Collection only from Cambridgeshire.

Cash only, no trades please.

All the trading I've done on TB has gone great so far, if you have any questions I'll be happy to answer them.

Cheers Guys!

3. Hey guys,

Been working on this for a long time now, but really pleased with how it turned out.

We did almost everything ourselves, except the tracking for the drums and one or two guitar parts which were done in a local studio over a 2/3 day period.

Thanks to all the guys on here who have helped me out with technical bass-related queries along the way.

Gear used:

Gibson Ripper 1979
Ampeg SVT4 Pro
Ampeg SVT 2 Pro
Ampeg 410HE Cabs
Fulltone Bass Drive
Sansamp Bass Driver DI

4. Ok so the official Ampeg Repairshop for the UK was Panic Music but Mike has now retired and I am left wondering where to take my SVT 2 Pro for repairs in the East Anglia area.
Any suggestions? :(

Ive taken a look at the stickied reccommended list but nothing that seems to be anywhere near the Cambridgeshire area.

5. Quality USA-built Ampeg 410HE for sale. £250, collection only from Cambridgeshire.
All in 100% working order, includes caster wheels. Cosmetic condition is v. good with only a few minor scratches/damage to the tolex.Any questions or queries feel free to PM me.

6. Up for sale is one of my wonderful ampeg heads. Same as an SVT CL but with a graphic EQ and rackmount design.

-100% working order. Has been pushed hard several times and has never failed.
-Comes with Winged C power tubes, less than a year old, properly biased.
-Recently serviced.
-USA-built, high quality.

I am asking for a mere £750, a complete bargain given the above, I hope you agree.
Due its age, it has some scuffs on the front but nothing too major, no dents or big chips/scratches etc.
I may be open to a trade for an SVT 4 Pro, SVT VR or SVT II (non-pro). No other offers please.
Collection only, from Cambridge.
If you have any questions at all please feel free to ask, all my previous TB trades have gone smoothly.

*Please note the Rack Case is not included*

7. 100% Full working order. This thing has been a workhorse for loud rehearsals and has a few gigs under its belt too. Its never skipped a beat, very reliable, well-built cab that has a very nice full-range sound. Produces very tight and deep lows and clear hi's which can be further enhanced using the tweeter on the rear. Not too difficult to transport, only 10kg or so heavier than an ampeg 410 and it has a handy metal bar on the back for wheeling it around. I have been using this with an SVT 4-Pro and it has handled absolutely everything wonderfully.

-900watts handling
-4ohm

Its a few years old but is in very good condition. These are about £600-700 new (internet price). I am only asking for £250.
Definately not going to post this one, however if you would like to arrange for a courier collection yourself then I am willing to arrange a day and a time for it to be picked up. This is at the buyer's own risk in regard to how badly the courier company decide to kick it around!

All the trade I've done on the forums so far has gone very smoothly,
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

The item is based in Cb4 (Cambridge).
Cash only, or Paypal if you choose to arrange a courier.

-Ahron K.
