Yeah, to be honest the images don’t do this one justice, it really looks ace. If it doesn’t sell I really don’t mind and I’ll try and find a new band in the new year.

The board is 510mm x 175mm.
thanks.

I’ll go measure it shortly.

Here’s a great small board in very good condition and complete with the Volto, leads and power supply. Please note, this hasn’t been used for a couple of years and whilst it will work with the power supply plugged in I have no idea how long the Volto battery will last between charges.
price includes postage to UK only.

Sadly, due to both my bands calling it a day I’m selling off a fair bit of both bass and guitar equipment and this awesome Roquefort blue Sandberg is up for grabs along with my beautiful Ken Taylor (see other listing). It’s in original beat up condition with no modifications, Delano pick ups with I’m assuming a Glock pre that has the usual pull pot for passive/ active eq. It really is a wonderful bass, it plays and sounds wonderful, it balances great on a strap and weighs around 4kgs on our bathroom scales. It comes with a great condition Sandberg gig bag. If you need any more specific images just ask!

For sale is my Ken Taylor in trans-blue. It’s in great condition, having an active 3 band eq with a switch to use it in passive mode and a splitter for the humbuckers. It all works as it should, sounds and plays great it’s the flame in the ash body really making it pop. The back of the neck has had the lacquer removed ala Musicman professionally a few years ago by Joe at Joes Guitars in Birmingham and it feels very slick. The strings are NYXL.45-105’s and still feel great due to lack of use. Weight is just over 9lb. I’ll let the pics do the talking now but if you have any questions please ask. Collection preferred and any trial welcome with safe distancing of course!
£675.

Ha ha...l hadn’t thought of that 😎😁

He was an old boy, 15 and a half, and had a good life. It was a tough time as we lost Alfie and Charlie ( see avatar) within 3 weeks of each other, Charlie was nearly 14. Both lovely boys indeed and real characters. We wasn’t going to have any more but the house felt empty so we took the plunge and now have another chocolate roan and tan boy.... Ozzy 😁 whilst we were collecting him I just mentioned to Sandra (the breeder) that we may have another in the near future and she said she was retiring one of her breeding b!tch3s so we bought Bella the chocolate dog back too!
sorry that was off topic folks....

The Marlow looks great but the 4 legged friend even better, reminds my of my boy Alfie who we lost in the spring.

I’ll take it please, it’ll go nicely with my Eden head! I’ll pm you shortly.

Here is a new one available....................https://reverb.com/item/31530220-sandberg-forty-eight-black-cr-stripes-hardcore-aged
Many thanks mate but yeah, as cuzzie said it was the total reverse that appealed to me with the hope that it cured the 2 problems I had with the standard 48. If the truth be known, the 48 is my all time favourite looking bass. You can imagine my disappointment when I played my ultimate bass only to find it didn’t quite hit the spot ☹️

Will do, thanks!

Hey cuzzie, are there any other images? Is it on the Sandberg page? I’m not on Facebook, I do anti-social media and there’s only me on it!

It looks ace, I wonder if having the strap button on the now upper horn would hang better and bring the headstock back closer to the player? If so I’d be down for that because they were the 2 things that put me off when I tried a couple ☹️

I’ll add that my old TT that @DJ '65 has now got with Haüssel’s (passive) has massive balls and would defo pass for a P
Loved that Jon Snow...
As cuzzie has said, Jon Snow with the Haüssel pick ups does indeed have some thump. The neck pick up is close enough to a P in the mix and closer than the Delano’s in my other TT4. I’m am sure that a lot of you bass players (I’m more with the dark side for the most part and play six strings 😱) would be able to tell the difference. However to me it sounds as close if not closer than the reverse P in my VM4!

If my Fender J had a bit more depth it would be my perfect bass. I don't like changing things on a bass unless i need to. I'd rather buy a bass that fits my needs at that time. Currently the VM4 does what i want. Thinner neck would have helped a bit more tho.
Dave
just to say that both of my TT4’s have deeper necks than my VM4, my old VS4 had a chunkier neck profile and ultimately that’s why I got rid of it.
