  1. All PM's replied to , despite the low price which was mean't to allow for the fact that it's cash on collection only (see opening post) this is still in my possesion, I don't wan't to accept money without the bass collected as morally I would feel that I could not spend those funds while I still posses the bass which defeats the object of the sale, I have missed out on one project thro lack of liquid assets & at this moment another is slipping away from me. If it does not move quickly I will abandon my new venture for the time being & place it with Manson's of Exeter as a commision sale where the asking price will obviously be much higher, sadly cash is king, mike b.

  2. Hate to do this but I need funds elsewhere, nearly sold her & then withdrawn, but this time she has to go, much has been already written on this forum about her ,2003 build if I remember rightly, all pickup selections working correctly comes with a case, cash on collection only from sunny Devon, close to M5 junc 28 ( no trades & please don't insult with lower offer) price reflects Devon might be a bit out of the way for some, crazy sale at £600 .

  3. Need to fund a new project, as I haven't used it for a while & cut down on the number of gigs decided to put this up for sale, tried lots of fretless in my quest for the best & settled on this one ,I'm sure there will be "if only it didn't have lines on the neck" but I have played many different fretless basses & couldn't tell the difference in sound between lined or unlined necks . Plays superbly & comes with hiscox case, cash on collection only from sunny devon, close to M5 junc 28, lot of bass for little money @ £900 or try a trade,

This is truly PRS / Gibson quality ( I have owned plenty of both ) at half the price , cash on collection only from sunny Devon, close to M5 junc 28, now looking for bass only trades value in region of £700 (poss cash either way) prefer headless or 4/5 strings (34" scale 16/17mm spacing) hit me with whatever you have, mike b.

  5. Hello, looked at one of those stands a while ago, nothing more than a flimsy modified guitar stand I certainly wouldn't trust it with anything remotely valuable, have you thought about making up some tilt back legs like they used to fit to the old fender twin guitar amps, mike b.

  6. I used a kodak playsport, came with editing software part of which links to youtube easily , didn't take me long to put my bike video up, see link below, mike

  7. Here's something to consider-

first look at the position of the top strap button, on mine it is over the 11/12 fret, when the bass is hung on a strap this brings the nut end closer to you, hang a small body bass ie hohner b2a on a strap & the strapbutton position pushes the nut end away from you.

secondly I'm no scientist but the greater neck contact/body mass against the neck must contribute to the tone, look at the basses I currently own & I have to say the karuna with it's cheap as chips "belcat" pickups & the most basic control layout produces a sound equal to them all.

thirdly, check out the weight, the Karuna single cut is the lightest bass I curently own
