  1. If you have PayPal or other secure means of payment I may be able to ship one from the states. PM me and we can try to figure something out. -- Grant S.
  2. I just played my first gig with my stagg EUB. I'll have to say that I'm very impressed. There are still some nut slot issues to be taken care of once I get the correct files but all in all I'm very happy with my purchase. The recordings from the concert proved to me that it really does emulate a the sound real upright fairly well. Once again, I'd suggest anyone that is looking into one to take the plunge. You won't be disappointed.
  3. My biggest suggestion for flying would be carry it on the plane instead of checking it if at all possible. Sometimes the flight attendants will let you put large items in the front closet. If you can't, box it up and make sure the neck is well supported. The Stagg EUB's are prone to cracks in the body right at the neck pocket. If you're handy with a screw driver and know how to do full adjustments, I'd take the neck off and put it back together when you get there. Much easier to handle.
  4. Here in the U.S. they usually sell between $549 and $599. Quite a steal in my opinion.
  5. I work for a dealer in the US so I had no problem getting one. Most colors were in stock at the suppliers warehouse. From what I can find online very few people in the US have tried them (which is why I found this website).
  6. My stagg arrived yesterday and to my disappointment it had been damaged during shipping. I was greeted with a nice gouge in the neck and a large crack in the body. A quick phone call has another one on the way (after being inspected before leaving the warehouse) and a RMA # for the broken one. Hopefully the next one will be a winner.
  7. After checking out everything I could online I ordered one with the honey finish. I've played electric for years with a few jazz groups and occasionally played upright so I figured this would be a great practice tool for the dorm room. If it works it'll be fun to try on a gig. I'll try and get some pics and sound clips up as soon as it comes.
