1. Hi all,

Now £[s]750[/s]. 700 (final drop. If nobody wants it for this price, then I'll wait 'till it's vintage)

just seeing if anyone is interested in this one? It is in pristine condition, I am the second owner. The first never gigged it and I used it for one show, I can't find any fault at it. It really looks like it's only 6 months old and not 8 years.

It is from 2008 (Z8 serial number), US made, and comes with different pick up covers and a second pick guard in case you get bored with the look and want to change things up.

I am not looking for trades, need to make some space in the flat.

Cheers,
Udo

2. Hi all,

just adding some up to date pictures from this morning. One picture is called 'scuff' and shows the only mark I could fine, just behind the bridge. I can also send high resolution versions if needed.

I lowered the price as well to £900 now. If anyone is interested, I would rather meet in person to give anyone a chance to try out the bass first. I am based in SE London but able to travel within reason as well. Of course I am happy to post as well if that is wanted.

Also, I am fairly new to the forums but met with Grangur recently, in case anyone has doubts that I am a real person.

Thanks,
Udo

3. I thought about that the other day as well. The band I am with does do its own material apart from one cover and I can play the set solo from A to Z. Sort of muscle memory but also knowing what comes next.
But jumping halfway into a song like you do sometimes if time is short or for soundcheck, I find that really taxing.

4. Hi all,

I am thinking of selling my 3EQ StingRay to fund a not to be named bass. It's by far the most comfortable bass and neck I ever laid fingers on, but that's different for everybody I guess.

It has a maple neck and is in Tobacco Burst, has been completed in October 2014 and I bought it new from Wunjo in London.

I can take better pictures of course when I am back home, just wanted to check if there is any interest. (The pictures are from a while ago)

The bass has been out gigging, but no serious marks, dents or scratches. Comes in the original MusicMan case (that has some marks though).

Really not looking for a trade.

Cheers,
Udo

5. Both pedals in near new condition, only used at one rehearsal and decided against them.

The ubertreiber has a nice blend feature, bass specific and it's a fairly subtle overdrive, nothing to scare the neighbours with.
The Clone Theory, well it is a really nice chorus pedal but won't get much use and it's too expensive to be just sitting around. I bought it to try and get the Joy Division sound, but no longer need that sound :)

Both pedals come in the original box and I am happy to post as well.

ubertreiber - £40
Clone Theory - £75

Thanks,
Udo

6. This is a well used and worn bass. I bought it and it became a pet project to try my hands on some DIY:

I put copper foil into the pu cavity, swapped the pickups and the wiring plus the knobs.

At the moment it is working except for the tone control - nothing changes when I turn the knob, might be my sub par soldering skills. The pots are new so should work. I sort of lost interest/no time in figuring this out now to be honest, hence I sell.

The pick ups are from Bill Lawrence (http://www.wildepick...ss_Pickups.html), the wiring is this one here (http://www.advancedg...itars-2828.html). The strings are new as well (Ernie Ball Regular Slinky if I remember correctly).

I can post it if wanted, otherwise I am based in London SE4, happy to meet and try out.

Thanks!

7. Hello,

bought this one in January 2016 and used it for a couple of gigs. No dings or dongs.

It's a beautiful, lightweight and super easy to play bass, I only give it away as I need space in the flat.

It is the 3EQ version, nothing much else to say really. Comes in the original case.

Retail price was 1500 when I bought it, still have the original receipt and you get another 19 months of free service from where I bought it in central London.

Cheers,
Udo
