The Bass Place started off in Brum at the address on the t-shirt design, then moved nearer Musical Exchanges in the railway arches. Dave AKA Kink, ran it for a while then moved jobs to Exchanges where I worked with him. Haven't seen Dave in years. The Bass Place became The Bass Centre not long after, think it was acquired by them.

I played a Steinberger headless in a death metal band because it's what I wanted to play. Sounded great... Needless to say, the rest of the band hated it....

Peavey do the PVH1516 cab, a 1x15 with 2x8 drivers. Not sure what the ohmage is though.

Today sees the release of the fifth album "Disaster of Reality" by my band Cerebral Fix... Our first in twenty four years, and my first ever on an established label.. To say I'm chuffed would be an understatement!!!

I've owned my Epic since Christmas last year. It's been my go to bass since then. Very versatile and comfortable to play. £900 is a great price if it's in good condition. I payed £1350 for mine, but it's a rare as rocking horse poo lefty...

It's a 76 serial number. Logo looks wrong to me. Body loos like fifties two tone sunburst. Not sure what it's supposed to be. The description is about as vague as it can get. Personally wouldn't bid without seeing it in the flesh and more research.

I've played a 78 and the only issue I had was with the weight. Weighed nearly twelve pounds. . Hopefully the one you're looking at is nowhere near that.

As good as two three inch speakers can be for bass response. It does a passing overdrive as well.. Which is intentional. 😀

Great instruments, but don't hold your breathe about them being valuable collectors pieces.. 😀

Had a chance to try one of these. They are as good as the guitar version. Not quite as loud, but for home /jam use it's good.
