(Sam here) Huge thanks to everyone for this! if I could have stayed longer I would've, hopefully next year I'll be able to stick it out to the end. Thanks to all of you for making me feel at home as one of two guitarists in a sea of bass. Great experience, great people, couldn't ask for better!

I'm not sure how to ask this, I'd posted an ad on a website trying to find any bass players in the surrey area who'd be interested in joining a band, and I got a reply directing me to this event saying I might have luck here. I'd rather ask here rather than just turn up and cause issues, do you mind someone coming bringing a guitar instead of a bass purely for the intention of jamming and finding a bass player? I don't want to miss an opportunity, but I don't want to get in the way and cause problems since you seem to have this all pretty well organised. If that would cause problems then no worries, I've started playing bass recently, so I'm interested in coming just for that side of things anyway. Honestly I'm not sure how to go about this, never been part of a community like this, so I don't know the dos and don'ts for these kinds of events.
