...yeah, I know, Get coat, wear coat, leave :)

Love my lomo fisheye though ^_^

  2. [s]Basically I'm upgrading and downsizing my rig and I'm wanting to sell this to raise funds

The amp is a Laney RB4. It's 160W RMS and will put out 300W max with another 8ohm cab attached. It has a 15" celestion driver which has a great bass response and is not one bit muddy. Has very good treble response too despite the lack of a tweeter. There's a 7 band EQ, 40Hz thru 6KHz, bass and treble boost, enhance control, on board compressor/limiter as well as a built in DI. Very useful for recording or for hooking up to a PA in a live situation (though you'd probably need an ext cab for enough power live). There's also an FX loop, tuner out and high and low impedance inputs for active and passive instruments.

Oh and it's in very good nick, near mint, never gigged (non smoking household too) - never left the house. Always took a smaller (guitar :)) amp out with me to jams.

If anyone does happen to be interested I can get a few sound clips of how great this amp can sound.

The main issue with selling it non locally is that it's a hefty bastard. I'm located 20mi outside of glasgow in a village with very convenient public transport links (it's easy to get to by car aswell). Otherwise Postage would be in the £30 range (quoted from parcel force 48 to London - obviously the further north of London, ie the closer to me you are the cheaper it is) and I don't particularly fancy carting it up to the PO BUT if you're willing to do the deal and pay the postage then I would be able to ship it. Feel free to ask for a quote. Local pickup is preferred though. Means no money to postie and cash in hand.

    Open to offers.

    Rather crap Photo:

  3.
welcome alastair

what kind of music to do play? Do you play in a band? and of course what gear you got?
A bit of everything really, blues, jazz, rock, funk etc :)

I'll fill out my profile but atm I just use my humble Laney RB4 160W Combo (hoping to change that soon...) and my two Jazz basses - A Squier VM Fretless and a Fender fretted.

Thanks for the kind welcome

There's more on my YT channel...I'm not really fond of any of my vids any more though. I'm always noticing dodgy bits in them...bleh.

  5. Just migrated here from TB..."moomoocajoo" is my handle on there...yeah...Alastair was already taken.

Anyway, this place looks fun and it's nice to be able to go into the for sale forums and not see dollar signs and 'CONUS' everywhere on gear you're really GASsing for!

    - ally.

  6. Hey dude is this still for sale?

Im based in Glasgow and, providing I get paid this friday, I will be MORE than happy to take the LMII off your hands!

PM/email me if it's still available, I've been GASsing for one of these tiny heads for too long!

    Cheers

    - Ally.
