Hi Many thanks, in the first step if was for cosmetics the differnt types of materials for the intonation tubes & the EVO Cams, but after having done somne sound test on my fretless bass there are slighly different tones. SS & SS have a more direct hard sound, the other combinations sounds more softer ...

Here is one of my favorite bass builder & who didn't know the X-Factor Bass .... IMO the bass bridge is awesome , impossible to buy a new one

This other bass bridge from RML the Claw bass bridges is also IMO great I don't know how it exactly works but the design is awesome

After having read the description of the inventor of the RML Torpedo bass bridge, I see that its accurate engineered & the bass stings have a large ( long) contact points inside the Torpedo. The string height adjustment is IMO very clever solved. Okay its not a one to one replacement bass bridge but would be great on new basses from bass builders....

I'll take very care about my wordings & will hurt no one ! I'll only show a few different bass bridges who have been very ingenious engineered ....
