Just met Clarky and bought his Kala U-bass. The instrument was exactly as described. Clarky comes across as a decent, friendly bloke - we had a nice chat - and I would definitely recommend him as an honest person to do business with.

This is the five string version with the single soapbox pickup. I bought this second hand in 2004. It has a few dings and scratches, which you can see on the pictures, but they are only cosmetic and do not affect the playability of the instrument. In fact it's an amazing player. I am selling it now because I have never really got into the 5 string thing, so most of its life with me has been locked safely away in a cupboard. A bass like this deserves to be played more often. No case, but a spare set of d'Addario strings included. £[s]780[/s] - Cash on collection only. £730 P.S. Just met Steve at the weekend to sell him a bass. Very nice bloke and it was a pleasure to do business with him. It's always nice to know that a cherished instrument is going to a good home!

This is a beautiful bass, complete with it's original case, only one owner and has remained virtually unplayed for over 25 of its 31 year life. Due to financial circumstances bass and owner must now part company.
