    Thanks for your question: It's a passive bass... we choose to use those pickups because they are very (expensive...) responsive, transparent and powerful and we thought it was not useful to have a preamp on this bass.

    Thanks man! As you can see from the pics i've updated it's a neck-through body. It's a 34/18 scale/string spacing as new conditions
