  3. Hi guys, After years of drooling I now have found my Holy Grail of basses, a 1997 Sadowsky Blue NYC and a Sadowsky Sunburst Metro PJ. I currently play through a Mesa M3 Carbine 1x12 combo. I have no need for a wall of sound as all the band are di'd and use iems. Here's the thing, the Mesa is way too difficult for me to control, the master volume is so sensitive it seems to go from 1 to11 with a 1mm turn of the master volume! So I've decided to move away from a valve pre amp and go back to solid state. I have an Aguilar DB212 CAB 300w 8 ohm waiting for the right amp. I was thinking that an all singing and dancing tone circuit wouldn't be needed as the Sads have such great in built pre amps. Does anyone have any advice?
