1.
I think they look great!
Theyre like a super cool looking Jazz with a 2band EQ (not saying Jazz's arent cool looking enough to begin with)

Although i would love to mod one to have a pair of Jazz-Humbuckers (like rio-grande powerbuckers or something)
Change the pickup on/off switches to Single/Humbucking Switches for each pickup and possibly change the third for a Midrand Boost switch or something.
G.A.K have a stagg bass that looks a lot like a jag for £139, one piece alder body etc might make a cracking project for better electrics.

  2. I'd love it more in white, opinions still divided on it though. Whats your opinion on it compaired to a jazz bass ?

  3. Just a feeler at the minute, thinking of shifting the maple neck of the prose bass i bought. No idea on the make of neck but its straight and the frets are good, at present it has a white headstock with a fender logo. But could easily by rubbed back to the laquer. Comes with machine heads, looking for £60 plus postage

  4. G.A.K does these http://www.staggmusic.com/products/product...k&oneid=538 for £139, if the standard jag electrics are'nt great one of these would be great to rip apart and put some good electrics in.

  5. Watched magazine on later last night, barry adamson plays a jag. Great sound, but doesnt sound overly active.

  6. Back together again, good sounds with the MM pick up but a J in the front will smooth things out (just got an old pick up in the front until i order an emg one, not wired up) needs a bit more t cutting and a bit of tidying around the route.

  7. All sprayed, need to flatten back and apply nitrocellulose laquer when it turns up. And add J pick up at some stage, also thinking of spraying the headstock also.
