1. Well... thanks for @only4 I received a lovely Barefaced Super Twin in the post on Friday. Just had it at practice this evening and I’m over the moon. Paired with my TH500 and my newly acquired dark glass b3k v2 (I’ve been a bit naughty, my lass doesn’t know!) it sounds bloody fantastic. Thanks all for your input. Here’s hoping my cab woes are behind me. Honestly can’t believe how good it sounds. And it’s so light!
2. Purchased a Barefaced Super Twin with a matching cover from Mark. Had a good chat on the phone. Lovely bloke to chat to, lovely cab! Cheers Mark!

5. cheers for all of the responses everyone. I’m definitely intrigued by the barefaced 10’s. All in all I think I just need to make a bloody decision! I guess I’m unlikely to get a bad cab, I just need to work out what’s exactly right for me. Then I’ll never have to sell it... hahahahaha
6.
Where abouts in the North East? There's a few of us with Barefaced stuff around these parts.
Hi Jack, I’m in sunny Blyth. I’ve been speaking with Paul as he has a bit of barefaced gear!
7.
I don't expect Mike Dirnt has to carry his cabs up the back stairs of a social club, or through a crowd of drunken punters and past a taxi rank to where his hatchback is parked on double yellow lines with the hazards on. Just sayin'
Yep, no roadies unfortunately! Plus, for the price of a fender neo 610, which is what he’s currently using I believe, I can get pretty much any cab as I think they’re around £1000!
8. My cabs have since gone. I never got to try them with the TH500 but it’s the size/weight issue as I’ve recently moved home and space/stair lugging is a pain. Really want something lightweight and portable. The bergs look spot on but I imagine they’ll be weighty and large!
9. Hi all, Troubled individual seeking all in one cab. Please help. I play in a Green Day tribute band, playing venues ranging from very small to open air very large. I had an orange OB1 500, an Aguilar DB115 and 210 but they just weren’t doing it for me, on both sound and weight/size. So I’ve bought an Aguilar TH500 and require a suitable cab to accompany. At the moment I’m between Vanderkley and Barefaced. Any thoughts? Anything I’m missing? Unfortunately in the North East there’s very little to try in the shops (at least I can’t think of anywhere) so I’m reliant upon you fine folks. Answers on a postcard, or just below. Cheers!
10. My gas was far worse as a guitarist! Somehow I managed to whittle 18 Guitars down to 5. I only have 2 basses at the minute (likely to buy a third) and since June I’ve have 2 heads and 3 cabs, the third cab likely to be sold tomorrow morning. But I still think it was worse as a guitarist! Upcoming post about what cab to buy in the relevant section of the forum... And an overdrive pedal... And a third bass... And this Pole Spondon and Paul speak of. Must get one of them...
11. Hi all, Been a member for a while but have only just plucked up the courage to introduce myself... as a converted guitarist from Newcastle. Played guitar in bands for around 18 years, but stood in as a bassist a fair few times. Jacked in the band in February this year, deciding to give it a break and focus on work. Lasted 4 months and got a call to do a dep gig last minute with a Green Day tribute band. Joined permanently straight away and here I am, trawling the forum every day for stuff I don’t need but really want, enjoying life as a bassist. Pleasure to be here! Iain
12. Hi, I've sent you a PM re the P Bass. Thanks, Iain
