  5. ***Price Drop**** now £1550 Up for sale is my Fender Custom Shop '59 Relic Precision bass- White blonde. This is a very very reluctant sale and is only because I am now using jazz basses. I have had enquiries a few times in the past asking me to let people know if it becomes available so now it has! This bass was bought in 2014 from GAK and although it has been gigged a few times it's really as new as there is no wear and tear. I've attached the GAK link at the bottom which gives all the relevant details. It comes with all the usual case candy and custom shop tweed case and also the chrome bridge and neck covers. It's also a great light weight for a P bass as it is only 8lbs. http://www.gak.co.uk/en/fender-custom-shop-59-precision-bass-relic-white-blonde/94482 I have sold a fair few basses in the past and without fail everyone has got a bargain. This is no exception! PS- straight sale - no p/x- thanks. Mark
  6. 1978 Fender Precision bass in good condition. Black finish with a maple neck and fingerboard. All original other than the bridge and the case. Minimal wear and dings around the body, and the neck and headstock are clean with very little wear. Everything is structurally sound with no cracks, breaks or repairs. Neck is straight and the frets are in very good condition. All electronics work as they should and the bass sounds great with that fantastic p bass sound. It's light, weighing in at 8.6 lbs and the serial number is S861680. The pots date 1978. Bass is fully set up and comes with a good (non-original) hard case. Also has a new set of Thomastiks on it.
  7. Hi Cameron, Thanks for your message! The bass was bought from Guitarguitar only a couple of months ago. It is a really stunning bass and as you will have seen if I see an amazing bass I tend to just go for it! I would really really like to keep it but I have a few basses already big time GAS) and financially I've decided I just have to let it go. I'm more of a jazz bass guy now and so reluctantly this bass is up for sale as I'm keeping my jazz basses. It's as per new as it's never been gigged ( I play regularly in a covers band) and is as good a p bass as you will find. The relicing on it is stunning and it's got that great p bass tone. Just shout me if you have anymore specific questions and I'd be more than happy to answer them. Mark
  8. Fender Custom Shop 1959 heavy relic precision bass for sale- Olympic white over candy apple red. £1900 First time selling on Basschat! I have effectively a brand new CS bass for sale. I got it a couple of months ago but for financial reasons I need to sell it. It's a very reluctant sale indeed and I'd much rather keep it but needs must. These go for £2700 and I got this only a couple of months ago. It's never been gigged and is therefore is as per new. It's a very striking heavy relic and you won't see many Olympic white over candy apple red relic basses. It's nice and light at 9lbs with the chrome covers on and comes with all the usual Fender Custom Shop case candy including the custom shop certificate. As you'd expect, it sounds great like a custom shop should do. Any questions you can email me on [email protected]. If you want me to email pictures to you I can also do that no problem.
