  1. For sale - £825
    Location - Huddersfield, W.Yorkshire.
Collection preferred but postage is possible.

Here we have my much loved Stingray, date of birth - 14th May 2002 in a now discontinued colour called 'White Sparkle'
    Serial Number - E30787
The Sale includes the original hard case, which still contains the Ernie Ball Polish Cloth + Allen Key (not in the pictures but I do have it and will be with the sale)
Case, cloth and key all in perfect working order.

I'm not a salesman, we all know the quality of these instruments, I can assure you this has been well used but by no means abused and is everything you would expect.
Really plays well and has that unmistakeable sound. Many people (me included!) prefer the sound of the 2 eq version.
I've had it recently serviced by a local guitar tech, nothing major just re-setting a pot that had become slightly lopsided and tweaking the neck relief.
    Recently re-strung with Bass Boomers.

    Negatives;
There is a paint mark on the case (see pic in the album link) Don't ask me where/how it was many years ago.
The pickup polepieces have developed some slight dis-colouring. Again see photo in the album link.

I am only selling because In my current band I only play my attitude, and the funds would help greatly with my next purchase.
On that note I would prefer to sell, but trades with cash my way may be considered.

Any questions feel free to ask, I am happy for people to come and try it first.

    Link to More Pics

    Cheers,

    Matt

P.s first time I've tried to add pictures this way, apologies if it doesn't work!

  2. Thanks Dandelion, I have a real urge to try a 24 fret, which is why it's the 400 i'm looking at.
I don't really know why, I can't see me using the upper frets a lot but at least i'll have the option.

I saw your 700 and it does look great.

  3. Does anybody have any experience with this bass?

The 400 seems quite rare from what I can see (or not see!) and does seem to tick a lot of boxes on my list.

All opinions welcome! (topic related opinions that is..)

  4. Excellent all round, we all know how good Johns kits are now.
He supplied me with a warman mm pickup along with the wiring loom for a fake stingray and it is brilliant, going to test it against my actual stingray this weekend.
For anyone who's not sure or worried about not being able to connect the wiring up, don't be.
John really does make it so simple.

Even the packaging the kit came in was brilliant! (It's the little things)

1995 Attitude Special. Slimmer nut width at around 40 mm (unlike the 44.5 baseball bats on "proper" Attitude Ltd's (1,11,111,).
Original spec on this compared to the LTD'S, no scallops, no de tuner, no twin outputs, Yamaha pups instead of Di Marzio's.
5000 made, one year of production only, 1995. Around 1200 made of each of 4 colours, most of which never left the Far East.
Although these were the "cheap" version of the LTD, they still retailed at £600 in 1995.
I sold mine a year or two back, after doing over 200 gigs with it. The owner before me did 400+ gigs with it. She can be seen in my avatar.
This one on FEEBay, pick ups are not original, somebody has tried to scallop one section of the board and given up. The de-tuner is after market and will come up for sale after I BUY IT
    [/quote]

    Haha go on Karl!
P.s I would buy the de-tuner from you!
My lego avatars green bass is modelled on the very same attitude you once owned, which is currently well loved and used. :D

  6. Lovely Bass, it looks like someone has scalloped the last fret, it would be interesting to see how well that has been done.
