  8. For sure! This was a hard one to balance between explaining something that is common and sought after (scooped mid sound) and trying to give an alternative (added mids at the end of the vid) as you mentioned. I agree that slap tones often aren't seen as being diverse as they are in reality. Forget me nots is great proof of that!

  10. Ah ok I get you. This is exactly the reason I got the pocket amp and it's been one of the best investments I've ever made. You just need some good headphones and you're good to go. Well worth a look and you can always send it back if you don't like it. Hugh

  13. The price wasn't too bad. I paid about £135 which was around $200 at the time I think. If you've got a solution that works for you though maybe it's not worth the money?

  21. I think Carol Kaye has to be one of the most underrated bass players of all time. She's incredible and has played on basically every hit ever! She's a total monster! I may do a video on her in the future! The other guys I don't know so much but I' love some links
