  1. Yep thats how I ran it, I just set my system audio output to the Scarlett and it all comes through there. If you have direct monitor OFF you just get the computer audio and if you have it ON you get what ever is plugged into the Scarlett ie. mic or an instrument and the PC audio.

Simple bit of kit, you may chose to use a pedal if you want to shape the tone of your bass but it works perfectly without

  2. Scarlett Solo is a compact USB audio interface featuring one award-winning Focusrite mic preamp, one instrument input and precision digital converters. Scarlett Solo joins the top-selling Scarlett Series USB audio interfaces and offers both a legendary Focusrite preamp for your microphone and a crystal clear DI / line input for your instruments such as guitar, bass guitar and analog synths. Precision digital converters capture your performance with studio-quality 24-bit resolution at sample rates of up to 96kHz. Simply plug into your Mac or PC via USB (USB cable supplied) and start recording.

The unit itself is in new/mint conidtion, I have upgraded to a usb desk with more channels so no longer need this.

Comes with all original packaging and use cable. The software hasn't been redeemed so you can still download that.

    Next day postage £8

  3. Here is a bass I purchased from fellow basschatter Sharkfinger about 4 months ago and despite it being a great bass I seem to still be unable to put down my Stingray.

I replaced the preamp as the blend on the stock preamp had crapped out and I couldn't find another PCB post that would fit, I will however supply the original preamp and parts. I have fitted the Baselines STC-3M3 so it now has Bass/Middle/Treble/Blend/ Volume (with pull bass and treble boost and a mid cut) Which alone costs £100+

The bass is in the same condition as it was when I purchased it so it has plenty of dings and dents and a chip on the upper horn plus it looks like the neck screws poked through the finish at some point, from what I can tell it is a 1995 Made in Japan model.

It is a super light and great sounding and playing bass perfect for a backup or a resto project.

    £180.00 Collected from HP14

If you have a tuner such as the Boss TU2 that works. Only downside is when you switch the tuner on it only mutes one amp.

I tried that with a fender tuner I have but for some reason one of the outputs was quieter than the other, must be something wrong with it.

  5. Ive got a gig tonight and fancy running my bass into 2 small rigs just for curiosity but I haven't got an A/B/Y pedal but have lots of bits laying around is it as simple as making 1 mono jack connected to 2 mono jacks?

I will invest in a proper switcher but Im impatient but don't think of things tim the last minute :)

    Any help appreciated
