Hey all .... just joined up. Nice place you've got here. A bit about me ...... I've been an active member on BABP, The Last Bass Outpost and the Dudepit (prior to its untimely demise) for several years. I've been playing for about 30 years on the club and festival circuit throughout Canada from the Maritimes to the Rockies with a few forays down into the US. I'm a died-in-the-wool Roots player - mostly Blues, Country, R&B, Funk, Zydeco and singer/songwriter stuff. Current amp stable is a SWR Marcus Miller "Golight" 4x10 coupled with either an Ampeg SVT III or a PF800 with a Trace GP7SM running through the effects loop. Basses are a 2003 Fender USA Jazz, a Yamaha BEX semi-acoustic, a Carvin SB5001, a few parts P-basses and a pre-WWII Juzek 3/4 upright fitted with either an Underwood pickup or a Fishman system.
Anyway - good to be here ..... looking forward to some lively discussion.
