I cannot explain how much I've lusted over this bass!
If you feel like donating it to a worthy cause (me) then give me a shout

Nice try ! You can always make me an offer....?!!! -
I've had a few valve amps over the years, I can recall an ex-Motorhead JMP, a couple of SVT's and some mixed pre/power amp combinations.
More recently I had 2 Fender Bassman 100T's...

...which are brilliant but then I borrowed something else off a Guitarist friend.

Gartone Super Bass '68 100w clone, blew me away immediately. The volume is mental. Have since removed the amp from it's black wood chassis into a custom made Zilla one to match the Zilla cabs. Excuse the photos as these were done during the transplant sessions, without public display in mind...

Such a blindingly good bass this, the only problem with it is that bloody slipknot logo on the fingerboard!
If they had kept it clean I would have bought the one I played a few years back, they sound and play to an insane standard.
Thank you and agreed, great bass but marmite logo ! -
Bump £700 for both or £350 each !!!

Sold !

Looks legit so far, similar nuances to my 70's lefties.

Looks great, but isn't the Marshallisation like putting Nissan badges on a Jag?
Shame on me, I know... the Zillas' are great in their own right. But it was just crying out to be ahem, 'complete'. -
The never ending quest for tone, headroom, reliability and happiness has finally brought me here...

All the work of craftsmen: Gartone '68 Superbass 100w clone in a Zilla replica head, into 2 2x12 Zilla's. All 'Marshallisation' by myself (for aesthetic effect). -
I'm amazed this is still available - as much as I love modern amplification and old school SVT's and Bassmans - the older Marshall valve bass stuff is unbelievably rewarding.
-
Good stuff - plus they had Eddie Stevens (Moloko) on keys - awesome !
-
Brilliant synth guys !

+1

Sky blue?! Might change your mind after tonight ;-)
Great deal on a top rig here for someone.
Er yeah. It's proper name is 'Royal Blue' which is worse. Doh.
It's more towards turquoise, and I'm sticking to that. -
HS210 - 8ohm 400w (originally had 2 - now only 1 left)
One owner from new, it's been gigged so not mint - original Berg cover included.
I'd prefer collection only (I would suggest any interested parties to come and see them/hear them in person - I'm close to Chester), but could meet for fuel costs. Happy to drop-off at couriers if you want to arrange your own delivery.
Feel free to PM me for more info or more pics.

And the final modification is in place, a tort pickguard.
The gold colored one was not bad but this is what I had in mind when I started working on it.

Blimey you're busy, sterling work ! - I'm still in awe of the fanned fretted EB-a-like you posted in the Gibson section. -
Bass Direct usually has a few quality new and used left handed basses in stock at any given time.
-
I guess this used to be mine too - masses of power and sounded great paired up with either an SVT pre or (slightly mentally) an EBS valve drive into a Marshall VBC412. Sold it to fund SVT Classic, as you do.
Brilliant bit of kit. -
Saw them do the Pornografitti album in Manchester a few weeks back - fair do's they put a shift in !

Gutted - I was expecting a studio monitor with a 21" speaker in it

I wouldn't like to fall off this mid 'steve harris foot on monitor' mode.
Sold - please delete thanks !

Possibly the worst pics I've ever taken, sorry, but at least you get an idea...
